Adam Gase on December football games: "The stakes go up."

Hal Habib ‏@gunnerhal 51s51 seconds ago
Gase on final play of game: "Really good job" by Suh, "It shows his relentless pursuit."

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 42s42 seconds ago
Gase watched KC/DEN last night, but wouldn't take the bait when asked about being the sixth seed currently.

Hal Habib ‏@gunnerhal 1m1 minute ago
Gase says Suh ran "with a purpose" and it wasn't a case of, "Are you just trying to get in the clip?" vs. "Trying to make a play."

Hal Habib ‏@gunnerhal 25s25 seconds ago
Gase: "The thing we try to do as a coaching staff is we try to shoot our guys straight." Picked that up from John Fox, "who didn't BS."

Gase on Tunsil: Staff doubted he could play as of Saturday night.

Adam Gase says on TD, Leonte Carroo "was not going to be tackled"

Mike Pouncey is still week-to-week "probably not ready yet" according to Adam Gase

Anthony Steen won some and lost some battles according to Adam Gase

I definitely liked that Tannehill moved better in the pocket yesterday. I haven't seen a lot of Dolphin games this year, just the opener vs. Seattle, the Cincy game and San Francisco. Maybe others can comment more on this, but looks like Tannehill has figured that out, making a lot of plays on the move.

Would love to re-sign both Branch and Alonso. Overall, defense was a bit disappointing yesterday especially in containing Kaepernick. But that is a tough order.

Gase: Hard for team to worry about standings."I love the fact that our guys are thinking that way. A lot of times that's how coaches think."

Hal Habib ‏@gunnerhal 52s53 seconds ago
Gase wonders if they don't have more coaches who have been through playoff drives than they have players with that experience.

Adam Gase says there is minimal experience in meaningful December games on the Dolphins roster

I think this is important which I why I said in the other thread not sure if were a playoff team yet.. it takes some time, its a process look at the experience with coaches and players in NE, KC and Denver's of the world..

Branch was on GMFB this morning. Seems like a quiet down to earth guy. Little surprised Gase said he's one of the vocal leaders.

I agree though, get this guy re-signed.

The Miami Dolphins gave TE Dion Sims one extra week after he was cleared from a concussion in order to make sure he's as safe as possible

Another example of Gase being cautious on the injury side..

I saw where he switched agents I believe- not to Drew but one of the other big names- I think there may be some preliminary discussions going on.

I'd love to see us get in even if we lose the first game.(hopefully we will not). Let all the guys get a taste and come back next year with the goal being to go all the way. I think it's a process. Win to get in then win to go deep in the playoffs then win it all.

I'd say Pouncey is two or three weeks away still. I'm hoping we get Albert and/or Tunsil back this week. I feel good about Albert...still not so sure about Tunsil.

Agree Fish even if we get lets say the last playoff spot, the experience will do the team wonders...also the experience of playing meaningful games is December is good for the team. A team like Pitt. and NE lets say, they always seem to play well late in the year.

I know every week is important now and basically a playoff game but we'll really needs all those guys back against the Jets , Bills and Pats to close out so if any of them are not ready don't rush them back. The subs are doing OK and should get better with more playing time.

If Tunsil or Albert can go this week and hold down LT I think we'll be fine. Having all three back for the last three division games would be outstanding.
