Now this is from yesterday before he knew Wilson was probably done, but look at his plan for Grant and Wilson:

"I’d rather not give away exactly what we’re looking to do on Jakeem Grant and Albert Wilson. Wilson had been working on a lot of the special stuff since the spring. Some of the exotics. So we have to figure out what is best for this game and for the rest of season."

So he was thinking that he was still "saving" some stuff that he hadn't shown yet. Guess we didn't need it yet in his mind.

Gase probably has been watch film from HS teams thinking that it would work in the NFL because no one uses those plays

Give me a break. The honeymoon is far over. He’ll blame the rash of injuries and talent as to why he couldn’t open up the playbook. I’m not even sure we have a playbook. Regardless he’s the one who’s responsible for the strength and conditioning of the team so he should have gotten competent strength and conditioning coaches. He made his bed let him lay in it.

Now that the Lions have snacks Harrison in the middle it'll be a little tougher to run on them.

Gase is just another overrated and overhyped guru that is nothing of the sort. He got his recognition as a coach of a sure fire 1st ballot HOF in Denver who, by the way, changed alot of his calls at the LOS. He was OC in Chicago when the team finished 4th in the division with a record of 6-10 with one of the better Ds in the league. Cutler did have one of his better seasons there, but was that because of what Gase did as OC? Or was that because of what Dowell Loggains did as QB coach? Hasn't Osweiler played better the two games he has started.:ponder: That 2015 Bears team was, like the Dolphins, hit with a slew of injuries. Not saying it is his fault, but it is an interesting coincidence.
