I hope it means that those players will be off the team sooner rather than later. Dolphins have held on to heartless players for too long as a franchise to be honest.

No, I think Adam Gase clearly just said he thinks some guys didn't play hard and the team will be benching or cutting them. I don't see any other way to read that statement.
