Gators are 14-0 for the first time and the SEC is weak this year. The Gators have a legititmate chance in going through the season undefeated...what's the chance you give them to remain undefeated

I give them a 35% chance. I actually think they will end up with 2 or 3 losses coming from kentucky (Our biggest rival) and maybe tennessee or mississippi state, but it looks good for the gators in the tournament seedings...I just hope we don't choke as we have in recent history.

Another "curse about the gators is when they make it to the #1 spot, they usually lose the next game, so I am hoping they remain at #2 and Duke doesn't lose

This is the most exciting Gator team since the '99/'00 NCAA Finals team.
It's nice to see Donovan recruit guys that can actually run his D and offense. I think he got caught up in guys that could shoot, but weren't athletic enough to play his high energy D.

AND, we actually have a real point guard. You know, one that actually runs the team and isn't just a guy that's too short to be a 2. Green is the unsung hero of this team. He's a leader that distributes the ball and plays defense. He can shoot, but only does so when the team needs a lift. In the past few years, the offense has constantly looked out of sync, but Green keeps them organized and under control.

They are just wearing teams out by mid-way in the 2nd half. Three starters between 6'8" and 6'11" that are great athletes:D

The best thing is that I think most if not all of these guys will be back next year. I hate looking to next year, but you can tell that they still play a little young.

Either way, I'm planning my schedule around their games for the first time in a few years.

Surprise team of the Year???? Here in Colorado Springs......

AIR FORCE 12-1 (they beat Ga Tech, BYU and San Diego State last three games).

:)

After seeing the inconsistencies of Uconn so far, and a constant shake up of positions 2-10 in the rankings, there is no question in my mind that Duke is winning the National Championship this year.

This is their best team since the 2001 Battier and Jay Williams team.

Duke does look like a champion in the making, but it is a long season and crazy things happen in the tournament. Teams like UConn can grow up quickly during conference play.

The Gator jinx continues...They were #1 for a few hours after Duke loses then choke and lose to Tennessee...now Tennessee has the upper hand in the division

Not even close, this team isn't close to the 2002 or 2004 teams. The only team they are better than are the '03 duke team. I still don't even see this team being any better than last year but w/o any great teams they are a title favorite unlike a year ago.

Kentucky will once again rise from the SEC. They'll be in top for by the time the tourny comes around with Randolph Morris playing like the #1 recruit he was supposed to be last year.

C@ck-A-Doodle-Do... we beat the Gators in football and basketball this year! (ahem) granted there is a rematch in hoops yet to come. Go Game****s!

ahem  95-80

Kentucky doesn't have it this year and neither does the SEC. It's a down year for this conference for sure. Tennesee looks the best so far and I will be rooting for them to win the conference!
