Geoff Schwartz - we might actually sign a decent guard

His might sound over the top, but if Dallas Thomas is still starting going into week 1 I might just skip this year to spare myself the torment of watching the fails. I have faith that Gase is smart enough to finally address the position that has derailed the past 4 seasons.

I do not see any way that Osemele, everyone's #1 choice, is going to be an option. My second tier is Allen, Brooks, Boone, and maybe Foster. Hope we don't get past that group.

Anyone is better than the hot garbage dallas thomas. I refuse to even capitalize his name anymore.

He's a decent 2 yr fix and allows the team the luxury of drafting a developmental guy iafter the 3rd round.
Early draft picks have to be focused on defense.
He's a solid player and NOT a liability. After several seasons with Thomas, that is saying a lot.

He also has experience at Tackle. I agree that Osemele is too expensive for a team with many holes. On paper, Schwartz would fill OG & ST needs.

Finding another OG with T experience would give our OL much needed flexibility and plug some holes while we continue to develop Turner and Douglas. Thomas needs to be cut immediately; regardless if we have a replacement or not. His cap number is too high even for development.

If healthy, I'd be on board with Schwartz.

Dolphins need to sign at least 3 if not 4 free agent offensive lineman. And draft 2 or 3.

Our Left tackle is now injury prone and unreliable. Our center and RT are serviceable - just bc we overpaid our center does not make him good.

He was injury prone and unreliable before he got here. And that's not hindsight being 20/20, that was a legitimate concern and reason why there was a fair amount of us who didn't want him. Sometimes you can see stupid signings happen before they play out... it's weird that people can get paid huge money and make such foolish decisions.
