Being a big Georgia fan i thought i might throw a few names out there that could help the phins in some manner...so here goes along with a little scouting report from myself...

1. Quentin Moses - De - 6'5 257 - Moses didn't have the season that every 1 envisoned him having...his sack total was way down and seemed to be pressing and getting doubled teamed a lot more...finished strong down the season and had big games vs Ga tech and Va tech...best thing i love about this guy and where he could fit into this team is that most nfl scouts say he is suited as a Lb and would be better in a 3-4 system cause of his tackling ability and above average speed..another thing to add is that he could be Lb who is great at getting after the Qb that we have sorely missed...I think if he sneaks into the 2nd round it would be a no brainer to draft him...

2. Charles Johnson - De - 6'2 276 - Another undersized De who proble be used as a Lb...the thing i like about Johnson is that he started to come into his own..he had a career high 9 sacks this season...I think if he would have stayed in '07 he could of been a top 15 pick...he is a great run stopper as well and is good inass coverages to where he sometimes dropped back and played in zone and even has had 2 career int's...he could be a porject but once again proble suited for the 3-4 role and would be worth a 3rd rounder imo.

3. Nick Jones - C - 6'3 296 - Nick could be a steal late in the draft...he played guard for two years and just this year switched to the center pos....received mnay accolades during the course of the season and has started since '04...the versatility playing either pos. could become usefull and i think he would be a nice addition in the 6th round...

4. Brandon Coutu - K - im not sure why his name has not been mentioned on a lot of websites for kickers but this guy is the real deal..ask any sec fans how good he is...maybe the glaring problem here is that he did get hurt most of '06 but still lets look at his career stats 33-40 wich includes 5-8 from 50 fields or more and a career long 58 yarder vs kentucky and another thing to love about him is he has a strong powerfull foot wich included lots of touchbacks and if u saw the peach bowl this year successfull kicked a wonderfull onside kick wich helped the dawgs win...proble not gonna get drafted wich is fine but would be worth a look at the kicker pos if olindo mare doesnt come back

5. Tra Battle - another project perhaps..had best year this season...finished with 6 int's and might be worth a free agent contract after the draft is over...could help the nickel and dime situations and could contribute by blitzing from the side where mark richt let him blitz on occasion...

Well there are some of my thoughts but i ask all other college fans of the phins to see if u guys can do the same as i did...its a neat idea i think to perhaps see if maybe some of your college players could fit here and what capacity could they generally help us...well look forward to some feedback postive or negative...and i hope some 1 does take me up on my offer and throw some players names from there fav college teams and list them...

Where do see us taking Moses or Jones??? Looks real good to me but I don't know if these two interesting guys will be available to us when we have our turn.

Oh yeah!!! Im glad to see people appreciate those dawgs!!!

I see Tre Battle getting drafted nlt than the 4th round. That guy is very good and always in the right place.

Moses might be gone by our 2nd pick. He had a pretty down year this past year, so that will hurt his draft stock. Decent player, little overrated IMO. Johnson wouldn't be a bad pick if he was still around in the 4th.

No way he is there in the 4th IMO. If he were, that would be a great pick up.

Being that I've been to alot of Georgia games and watching both Moses and Johnson..I think Johnson had a great past year and Moses had his moments, but was not always consistent. I do believe that Johnson will be a 1st rounder in the draft and Moses will be a late 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Johnson a 1st rounder??? I don't know about that.

Charles Johnson has been given a first round grade by nearly every ranking system I've seen. Scouts Inc on ESPN.com has him #17 overall, and he's #13 on Kiper's big board. Barring a disaster at the combine, I don't see this kid slipping out of the top 20 picks, let alone the first round.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that.

I certainly wasn't aware of it during the season either. He looked impressive, but I never realized the kind of grade that was being put on either this kid or Jamaal Anderson

 Thats what I tend to base most of my player values on, apparently other people see things differently when they watch these games.

Charles Johnson is much taller than 6 2"...

I dont know where this guys got his measures, but Johnson is much taller than dds 6-2. I think he is every bit 6 6 or more. He may be confusing this guy with Moses.

im a uga student and went to every game this year except one...
1. Brandon Coutu is not a senior, hes coming back and is going to be the best kicker in the nation..his accuracy and power are untouchable but he was hurt for the second half of the season...im not kidding here UGA lost to kentucky and vandy and both were bc our backup sucks ive never used that excuse before and i hope i dont ever have to again

2. Quentin Moses has a hard time tackling it seemed to me but he is a dynamic athlete but no mean streak either but if we could get him in the second for OLB i think he would work but i dont think i would use that pick on him.

3. Charles Johnson is the man and a beast but his stock is out the roof and still climbing so he wont be there for us but he is going to be good in a 3 4 or a 4 3

Interesting, I wasn't aware of that.

Like I said before...I have been watching this kid for 3 years now and he's proven to be a 1st rounder. I've seen him play in person and he's a monster. Trust me, it will be a shocker if he isn't picked in the top 20...
