Be careful what you ask for...

Allen has already bought a big house in Atlanta and he hasn't even been paid yet. Not something I like to see. I want Yeremiah to start anyway.

I dont see the problem there. He could easily get a loan and I am sure the reason he bought the house was either for relatives or for a real estate investment. Why do you want bell starting over a guy with the potential Allen has? He can be another Palomalu or Ed Reed, he has that potential, and you want bell to start?
 
Allen is now bracketed - both the 15th and 17th picks signed 5 year deals. It is now on the Phins organization to fall in line with that. The onus is no longer on Allen.
 
I wonder how Mr. Huizenga feels about this, after he made it so blatantly clear after Ronnie's holdout last year that he wanted all rookies signed and ready to go for camp?

When you buy a million dollar home, ole onus comes home to roost. It's up to him.
 
we need to just get him in here for the 5 he wants b/c everyone else is getting the 5 and why wait we need him in here. and he will start at fs and bell at ss.

this is very true, and nor was it ever on allen actually. Im afraid to say the front office let us down on this one, not the player. I mean lord, we're not even talking about money for crying out loud.
