I love going onto Florida gator forums and only seeing posts on who they should play in the national championship. While I am not saying my Seminoles are going to win, this is not the same FSU team the gators have beat up on last two years. If we play a complete game like we did against Maryland you better believe Florida's national title hopes could be ruined. That being said I can't wait for this game i will be at DOAK and let the best team win

Don't you mean you'll be at Zook field at Doak Campbell...

just to be precise.

They better be concerned with Nick Saban and the tide.

"If" Florida plays a complete game like they did against Georgia, the game will be over for your 'Noles in the second quarter.

"If" Tim Tebow plays the whole game, they may hang 70 on you, too.

"Ifs" go a long way.

FSU grad? Learn to spell. There are two "r"s in "surprise".

Go Gators.

dude if english proficiency is that important to you, shouldn't you take the "s" out of the quotation marks in "ifs," or write out independent clauses for your sentences / questions. instead of "FSU grad?" the correct way to write out that question would be "Are you an FSU grad?" also, you dont need the comma in "they may hang 70 on you, too." one last point, the period goes inside the quotes when you say "surprise."

English proficiency is not important to me. Spelling is, however. Proper spelling gives the poster a little more credibility.

By the way, you missed a couple of capital letters in your reply.

Practice what you preach.

i have no problem with it. i was just helping you out. proper grammar gives the poster a little more credibility.

the comma in the middle of "spelling is, however" is a comma splice.

Just pauses for effect.

Let me help you out. Using your "Shift" key will allow you to capitalize the first letters of your sentences.

In many instances comma splices are acceptable.

In keeping with this thread, I don't think FSU has much of a chance.

lol my bad on the typo I am pretty sure i know how to spell surprise. Also I am pretty sure it's harder to get into FSU than UCF (almost as hard to get into as UF). That wasn't a problem for me seeing as I was accepted into both schools. I'm not saying that there is not smart students at UCF but lets not act like FSU is a scrub school academically.

I don't go to UCF, my son does.

High school requirements for admission are virtually identical. UCF requires higher ACT and SAT scores.

He's studying filmmaking, so he didn't apply to FSU. Central Florida has a great affiliation with Full Sail Studios. UCLA accepted him, but he wanted to stay in state if at all possible.

But I digress, Florida by 17.

the gators lost to ole miss at home...a lost is a lost and to an time that isnt a power house. so if you guys do go to the bcs and win whats that make ole miss . plus style points is stupid you guys are beating overrateded teams that were good last year but arent this year at all

They made up for it since then. If I recall, that loss did drop them in the polls.

Let me understand you correctly. Are you saying that if they beat FSU and Alabama and either Oklahoma or Texas, the Gators aren't good? What about the fact that they hung all of those points on Georgia, LSU and South Carolina. They were ranked #6, #4 and #25 at the times the Gators played them.

What does that make the other teams they beat if they are so bad? Worse, I imagine. That list would include pretenders like the Hurricanes and Commodores, and also-rans like Arkansas and Kentucky.

It is what it is. The truth (or at least half of it) will be out tomorrow.

Noles don't have a prayer, and neither does Alabama.

Neither game will be close IMO

The worst thing that could have happened to college football was Ole Miss waking up the Gators by shocking them mid-season. They are going to win the BCS title easily.
