as game time gets closer and closer i start getting more and more nervous. i dont think im the only one either. you guys know as much as we bash and talk about how bad things are or might get, somewhere deep down we all believe we still have a chance this season. however, not only would a loss tomorrow be very embarassing (theyre still the bengals), it will add another nail in the coffin of reality that we might suck this year. yeah, this is that important of a game. if we can't beat a bengals team with a rookie qb and a terrible defense, we are in a lot of trouble.

edit - dont give me **** like palmer is not a rookie its his first year starting he might as well be

I was really worried last year when we played the Bills on Sunday Night. I remember the week before the game, Mike Greenberg was declaring the Bills the Best team in the NFL and nobody gave us a shot againts them. That turned out to be a great game for us. It can't be an embarrasment if we lose since everyone is already saying we will lose. Actually, the Bengals have more to lose then us. I still feel very confident that we will win.

your not alone bro i won't get much sleep tonight and you know the players won't get much sleep it's prime time baby.

At least there's early games to watch to try and pass the time.

The fire of the Dolphin within...lol...completley agree with you

Lets get pumped! Im sick as crap right now, and Im going nuts...and its not even close to game time!..12:16am..and counting. :D

I say our D will definitly step-up I know they don't want to get shone up on national TV I just hope the O takes note to especially the o-line and make some friggin' holes for Lamar to go though.

I actually LOVE it when the Fins are on prime time. I can watch the other games and enjoy them because if the Dolphins lose a game I can not watch football at all. This almost seems like our first game of the year, let's hope we're more ready this week!!

Same here was just telling my cousin that tonight. I remember the Sunday Night Bills game very well. My wife was so mad I woke her up yelling and screaming and she had to work early the next day. I am a little nervous only because of the injurys on defense but I still think we win.

This game is like fighting the nerd in high school...if we win, wow...BFD...but if we lose...uccch...things become a bit clearer for the Dolphins 04 season....

I wonder how common this is, because it's the same with me. I can relax watching the early games. But if the Dolphins are an early game and they lose, and it's a struggle for me to watch other games, no matter how good the matchup. I especially can't stand it when the scores are flashed on the screen and I see a Miami loss. I usually have to watch a movie or do something else.

Yep, I get the same symptoms. It's hard to watch a football game after you have just been emotionally beaten to death for 3 hours. You try to pull yourself out of it and look for another game to get excited about, but you're just too emotionally whooped to even care about it.

Watching football reminds me of marriage, the only difference is you can get excited again next week.
