i think him being cut helps becasue him bing younger puts him ahead of yeremiah for top safety on the market they are both very similair players

Maybe.. But I'd have to imagine that him being cut by two teams in two years has to mean something

EDIT: ^^^^^^^^ Nevermind, I was misinformed

WOW? Can't believe he was cut. I would take him in a heartbeat, but my inclination tells me Spags will bring him to St. Louis

i'd take him for the right price if yeremiah walks. the raiders are really clearing house!!

Who was the 2nd Team to Cut him. He was a Free Agent after the Super Bowl and the Raiders gave him a huge deal. He was never cut before this, merely a Free Agent.

he fins should take the offer they offered to bell offer it to him and see wat he does couldnt hurt the guy can ball and like i said is very similair to bell

guys you have it all wrong. he WANTED OUT! he was supposed to get a 4.5 mill bonus but refused and asked to get cut!!

the raiders didnt WANT to cut him he wanted OUT.

Smart man. Who in their right minds would want to play for that organization if given a choice?

exactly and how BAD was the organization that a man declines 4.5 mill dollars. that speaks volumes.

thats why im dissapointed Aso signed with oak cuz clearly money is more important then winning and ahappy place.

Aso is a smart man and wanted out of Oakland more than anyone. I'm not convinced his offseason saga is over just yet.

Anyways, between Bell and Wilson, hopefully we get one.

I Want Gibril Wilson!!

i wonder when the raiders gonna release michael huff

I hope we at least make an offer to him.

I think it will greatly depend on what gets done with Bell. If we sign Bell to a contract, say 4-5 million a year, I'm not sure the FO would want to through big money Wilson's way when they can resign the serviceable Renaldo Hill for much less. I'm not saying I'd rather have Hill over Wilson, but I have a hard time believing Wilson won't be seeking a deal similar to the one Oakland gave him last season, thus making him a bit more pricey than our guys prefer IMO. But, I do agree with you, I hope they at least throw an offer out there regardless if it is large enough for Wilson's tastes or not.
