Theres no such thing as special preferencial treatment anywhere anymore. Its the reality of it. These guys go where the money is and there is no such thing as a hometown discount.

The franchise tag is an option for Grimes, although he was tagged once with the Falcons so the cost of the contract would be higher than the franchise tag for cornerbacks who have not been tagged before.
