NO NEED to reply to this thread, there are more than enough on the topic already. It is information for those who do not have the time or inclination to do a little research before posting on Ted Ginn.

2007- 34 catches, 420 yards, 2 TDs. PR- 24, 230 yards, 1 TD. KR- 63, 1433 yards.

2008- 56 catches, 790 yards, 2 TDs. PR- 7, 54 yards.KR- 32, 657 yards. Rushes- 5, 73 yards, 2 TDs. Out of the top 50 WRs in the NFL, he ranked #36 in yardage, and #22 in average (14.1). As we hate to remember, he also had a few great returns called back because of penalty.

2009- 13 catches, 134 yards, ranking #20 in the NFL in yardage.

2007 WRs drafted- #2 C Johnson and #23 D Bowe have been much better. #32 A Gonzalez- 07- 37, 576, 3. 08- 57, 664, 4. 09-injured. #30 C Davis- 07- 20, 188, 1. 08- injured, 4, 59. 09- nothing. #27 R Meachem- 07- injured. 08- 12, 289, 3. 09- 3, 62.

Is Ginn a #1 WR? Is he a #3 or a bust? Is he the best first round WR from that draft? Is he the worst first round WR from that draft? Was he worth the #9 pick?

As of today- No, NO, No, No, and No.

Has he put up some pretty good numbers? Has he improved every year? Has it been harder for him having a learning disorder, as it takes 2-3 times longer to learn than most? Is he our best WR?

As of today- Yes, Yes, Yes, and Yes.

Just a little food for thought and consideration.

Agreed, I'm not bothered. People forget we don't run an offense like the Colts or Pats and we are not based on scoring 30+ points per outing. Ginn will have over 1,000 yds 70 catches. Not worried. I laugh at how disorganized and split this board has become over an 0-2 start.

Rollin down the street smoking indo,
sippin on Ginn and Juice
Laid back, with my mind on my money & my money on my mind.

Big game coming up this weekend for Theodore. I can feel it!

Pretty fair assessment. Would I like him to take the next step? Yes, I wish he would do a better job coming up with the big catch or winning 50-50 balls. But I'm still happy to have him on the Dolphins.

Now you know this means right ? war! for many on the board! there not gonna like what these numbers indicate!..and now there gonna be out to get "you!", they want Ginn to be like randy moss...or T.O...nothing less will satisfy don't you get it. if you don't... Oh you will...real soon

its just a lot of bitching since he dropped 2 VIP catches. and they lost the game.
He was a 9th pick overall people expect the game changer.

yes! they do and so do i get it, on his timing not ours!!!. A warning to all, Don't give up on ginn just to yet! i have a very good feeling about him.. his #'s above says it! he's getting better and thats scary folks! of-course their are many areas in his game that needs improvement.. as for most players!, ginns a slow developer, he reminds me of the keanu reeves character(neo), in "the matrix"movie ! b4 realizing he was a Bad$ss( the one), lol!...the innate gifts are there, we've seen the flashes.. but for whatever reason ..., but! mark my words..Ginn's gonna be something to watch..when he puts half of his game together and trust me he's not even at the half way mark yet!! theres so much more potential there...he's a hesitant bomb waiting to go off!

Finally i think one of the worst things this coaching staff can do is turn away from ginn now!! monday night was great in-terms of making him the go-to guy!!! Feed him and he will grow...

I agree we are not an offense right now that can score 30+ points. But its kinda hard to win ball games when the other team can and we are having to play from behind because we are not built for that either.

Ginn is a football player. His coming was foretold, prior to birth, in a song written by legendary seer Bob Dylan. Here's the lyrics in part.

Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Ginn
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Ginn

Everybody's building ships and boats
Some are building monuments, others are jotting down notes
Everybody's in despair, every girl and boy
But when Ginn the Eskimo gets here
Everybody's gonna jump for joy

Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Ginn

:)

He's almost at 70 yards/game. He's getting there:). Hard to believe he seems to be at the top of the complaint list.

If he made that catch the Ginn bashers stray away from him for a week.
He didnt and they are out.. its just part of life.
Personally he put on the Dolphin uni so I want him to do the best he can.
Im not disappointed in his production I wish he would of made that catch but what are ya gonna do.
2,000th post I feel established now

Ginn is not a bust. Ginn has improved each season. If he was released i gurantee you that half the teams in the nfl would go after him in a heartbeat. So you guys should just cool it down a bit.
