NO NEED to reply to this thread, there are more than enough on the topic already. It is information for those who do not have the time or inclination to do a little research before posting on Ted Ginn.
2007- 34 catches, 420 yards, 2 TDs. PR- 24, 230 yards, 1 TD. KR- 63, 1433 yards.
2008- 56 catches, 790 yards, 2 TDs. PR- 7, 54 yards.KR- 32, 657 yards. Rushes- 5, 73 yards, 2 TDs. Out of the top 50 WRs in the NFL, he ranked #36 in yardage, and #22 in average (14.1). As we hate to remember, he also had a few great returns called back because of penalty.
2009- 13 catches, 134 yards, ranking #20 in the NFL in yardage.
2007 WRs drafted- #2 C Johnson and #23 D Bowe have been much better. #32 A Gonzalez- 07- 37, 576, 3. 08- 57, 664, 4. 09-injured. #30 C Davis- 07- 20, 188, 1. 08- injured, 4, 59. 09- nothing. #27 R Meachem- 07- injured. 08- 12, 289, 3. 09- 3, 62.
Is Ginn a #1 WR? Is he a #3 or a bust? Is he the best first round WR from that draft? Is he the worst first round WR from that draft? Was he worth the #9 pick?
As of today- No, NO, No, No, and No.
Has he put up some pretty good numbers? Has he improved every year? Has it been harder for him having a learning disorder, as it takes 2-3 times longer to learn than most? Is he our best WR?
As of today- Yes, Yes, Yes, and Yes.
Just a little food for thought and consideration.
