Why not take both these guys since they already have chemistry. We can grab Troy Smith in the 4th round.

Troy Smith isn't a QB we can build our franchise around. He's a nice little project player, but I just don't see him ever making a lot of noise in the NFL. We need to get our quarterback on day one, preferably Quinn in the first round.

Sure... if we get Ginn in the third round and Smith in the seventh I would take them, otherwise NOT!!!

Thats one of the smartest things I have ever heard... Ginn and Smith why dont add in Pittman too... Let see Quinn sucks.... Russel is over rated... Smith is the best QB in the draft.. whats Quinn got or do me one better what does russel's stat look like beside one good game.. smith had one bad game.. revenge will get the best of everyone look at vince young the texans are wanting a muligan........

Smith is garbage to be honest, just not going to be a good pro.

Yea coming from a Memphis fan didnt a player from there call Oden garbage.(overrated) and we all seen what happened when they met face to face

Smith will have to convert to DB if he wants to be a pro. Ginn is a return man. Ginn on day two and Smith as a free agent ONLY.

Actually I could see Troy Smith as being a better project QB than Cleo Lemon is right now but that is my opinion. I wouldn't mind taking a stab at him if he was around in the 6th or so. Doubt he'll drop that far. I say he'll be picked up in the 4th by some team filling a 3rd QB spot.

I'd be interested in him in the 6th round - keep him around and send him to NFLE next year. I don't think he's going to pan out to be an NFL QB, but I could think of worse ways to spend a 6th round pick.

Smith might be an option in later rounds. We know he can get the ball out of the pocket, and we know he either has the best red zone coordinator in history or he makes the best decisions with the football in the 20 than anyone I can think of. The question marks are his head and his heart. His background is kinda sketchy, and if he's not all the way in it, then he's certainly not anyone anybody will want on their team.

Mueller said in an interviewed a few days ago that they may pick up a Qb in the later rounds... Smith in the later rounds would not really upset me at all.
But I really want a Qb in the 1st day!
