Looks like it wasn't just some of us here who were disappointed to see Ginn run out of bounds on a couple key plays:

Ginn got an earful from his father, Ted Sr., a high school coach, as he stepped inside his home following the game.

"When he saw me go out of bounds he made sure he talked to me about my awareness," said Ginn, who tied a career high by catching seven passes for 55 yards against the Chargers.

"It's always good to get the same feedback from everyone," said Ginn, who caught heat from coach Tony Sparano for the plays. "The coaches didn't tell me anything different than what my pops said."

good to see that it was addressed and hopefully there won't be any reoccurrences.

In the 4th quarter, Ginn caught a ball with 2:35 left and, for some reason, fought his way out of bounds to stop the clock. If we hadn't have gotten the first down anyway, that could have been a terrible mistake. We could have given the ball back to the Chargers, down by one score.

I think its a small issue that can easily be addressed, the fact he is catching balls is by far more of a plus and out weights the negitive of him running out of bounds.

He will get it right next time

He will get better.... remember he was a DB in High School so he hasnt played a lot of WR.. But the boy has some wheels................

As long as we don't see a repeat of the same mistakes, and he continues to improve, you chalk it up as a learning experience. It cost us nothing. We still won. If you're going to make mistakes, ones that cost nothing are the types to make...

He's still learning to play. I like the fact that his dad the coach got on his @$$, as well as Sparano. What I liked most is he's ready to get back to returning punts and kickoffs. That may be where he can make the biggest difference, for better or worse. ( TD vs TO)
That kid might just become a football player after all.

Even as a DB you should know how much time is left, and if the reciever will try to keep it in,or try to get out of bounds. We lost a game once when C.C kept staying in bounds and we could not run out the clock. It should be football 101, these guys have been playing for years, and his dad is a coach.

I couldn't believe he did that during the end of the game. Anyone who has played football for any length of time is aware of the situation not to mention the fact that it was probably said in the huddle to stay in bounds.

Also, I wish Ginn would make a tackler miss on those quick passes. It seems he has no juking ability.

WOW!!! Really???

Well, this is now his Gut Check Defining Moment. How he reacts to the next similar play in a time run-off situation will speak volumes on his potential for us as a #1 or #2 receiver of the future.

Ted Ginn Jr. doesn't seem like he's very smart if you ask me. I hope he's learned his lesson and does better, for the Dolphins sake.

Anyway its about time Teddy Sr got invovled, after all we did draft him aswell
