"It's was a relief. I can't lie. I had fun and enjoyed it," said Ginn, who also caught four passes for 48 yards. "Using me like that you get more out of me. I'm active and already lathered to go on the offensive side. That's how it should work, going from kickoff straight to the offense."


On seeing squib and pooch kicks after his first big return, Ginn said expect more of that if he continues to return kickoffs.


"You make a play here and there and they will come back and do something different. They know it's only a matter of time before I do something," he said. "You going to see squib kicks and pooches a lot with me back there. I just got to go up and catch the ball and get what I can get. It's still good field position any way you look at it."

thats what i wna hear...the ****y confident level on that right htere is great! hes got to translate that into his WR situation as well hopefully wiht the help of HENNE : ) Bwahaha
 
Man bess couldnt get pass the 30 yard line and Ginn comes right in and takes it to the 40. Did you guys noticed ginn was shifting really well on the kickoffs & add that with his speed thats dangerous.
 
dude no one in the NFL has ginn speed so why on earth is bess returning i have no idea. and i was soo excited and surprised to see ginn return i wnt crazy.
 
Ginn should've been in there from Week 1. He's a playmaker. Let him return punts too. Bess really costed us field position on that one punt he let go.

and it isnt hte only time he's done that. bess is not a reutnr guy. end of story.
 
I'm just glad to see Ginn back there. Seeing Bess back there was giving me ulcers. The fact that they started squibbing shows how much respect teams have for his return ability.
 
exactly and either way we started in better field position with squibs then when they didnt or woudlnt have iwth bess.
 
Ginn looks faster this year to me i dont know why maybe it was because his foot injury but for some reason he looks faster to me
 
ya he does and hes more comfortable then he was last year. more CONFIDENT as well. prob is we arent using him.

that one pass he was open on a come back and penny screwed up the pass and ginn out of fustratoin threw his hands in the air n did a half *** jump one of those CJ or TO ones. I was happy to see that.
 
It was such a relief to see him back there today, but we need him on punts too. Bess is pretty much useless back there. He is a good slot receiver, but a returner he is not.

which ever knucklehead decided not to put ginn in on kickoffs and punt returns from day one should have his head examined. that includes bill or tony. thats what he does better than 90% of the kickoff/punt returners in the nfl. what was the coaching staff thinking.

Glad you guys are happy with the 9th over-all as a return man....

I'm still waiting for him to man up.. plant his foot and take it upfield to get that first down... or score... and boy's... so far... that isn't happening.....

He's a 9th overall pick? really? I wasn't even aware of that. All he is to me is a Miami Dolphin and I'm glad to see him doing things that will help the team win.

Whether it's letting his offense start at the 40 instead of the 20 or catching a 20 yard pass.....it's still an extra 20 yards. And since the ball can't be thrown to him 30 yards down field this year....I guess I'll live with seeing him making plays on returns for now.

FYI: He was drafted 9th overall 18 MONTHS ago, let it go! There's nothing we can do about it now.
 
heres what i told my roomie yesterday after they finally started him at kick returner. ginn catches hell for only getting 40 yards recieving a game or whatever. it could be a lot more if we would actually get the ball to him. but with ginn if our field position starts off 20 yards better 4-5 times a game. we might as well saying hes giving us 140 yards instead aof just 40.... its part of that hidden yardage sprano talks about the opponets getting even though he has been to incompetent to realize that ginn can get us that hidden yardage. kinda like ginn said expect alot more pooches and squibs when he is back there. if ya ask me that gives more opportunites for the kick off team to screw up and accidentally kick out of bounds...automatic 40 yard line. penny is prob our best chance to win now, but for offense to be explosive henne will make ginn that once he takes the helm (assuming we dont run him out of town first)
