Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins WR Ted Ginn Jr. (foot) will not participate in the team's minicamp.

I'll bet thats not the only camp he misses.

he'll miss the first minicamp but only as a precaution... ginn said if there was a game tomorrow hed play in it...

As long as he is rady for TC because that is the one that really matters.

Not another C-Pep! Did the Fins fire the medical staff that said take C-Pep and let Brees go???
What are you talking about not another C-Pep? Their injuries aren't even close to being alike and Ginn will be ready for TC.

And he'd be slipping all over the field. 5 months after his injury...and he still can't play...and if the reports are accurate....it going to be at least another two more months. 6 weeks in a boot...and 6 weeks to rehab...now how are you going to learn to be a receiver...if you can't get on the field?

Stop with all the optimism Pete! The Dolphins medical staff evaluated him! :sidelol:

Wow Very nice reports for your player that was taken 9th overall. Man for a WR that needs all the time he can to learn how to run routes in the NFL this will not help him. Well good job reaching big time at 9 Fins

I think Ginn with a boot on is still faster than Chambers or Booker. Ginn will be fine. I think the much bigger issue is his true ability to contribute as a WR and his durability. Both Ashley Lelie and Tyrone Calico were as fast as him coming out, and they have busted. But, no doubt Ginn was the most explosive player in the draft. Just go watch You Tube Ginn highlights and you will feel much better about yourself if you don't like the pick.
