I'll start with saying I was very disappointed when Ginn's name was announced. I was expecting Quinn, but I don't care so much that they didn't pick him. I would have been happy with quite a few players, like Willis, Carikker, Revis, Hall, Nelson, even a lineman (Staley, Grubbs). Yes, some of them would be a "reach", but Ginn was a reach too. I don't think you can take a receiver that high when you have much bigger needs. Wow he's fast, I don't give a ****. He can't run routes and his hands are suspect. Reciever is a luxury pick in my opinion. The Chargers took Craig Davis too early but no one even noticed cause they are stacked and can afford to do that. With that said, does anyone know anything about Ginn's work ethic? I hope he is willing to come to camp as soon his foot boot comes off. That's another thing, he can't do anything for a while cause he still has a boot on his foot. Anyway, he better not be a jerk and holdout. He's lucky to be getting as much money as the Dolphins will give him. He has a lot of work to do. If he works on running routes and catching the football, it could turn out to be a decent pick. Here's hoping he's Steve Smith(panthers) and not Troy Williamson.

Ginn put up pretty big numbers last year as a receiver. Better than his return stats actually. I agree w/ all the flaws you mentioned, but he was a difference maker.

My real concern is his foot. He definitely makes our offense more explosive, but foot injuries can be really tricky.

You got the right brother...

Really Im not that upset with not taking Quinn but I believe there were other players available. I like Ginn but I feel extremely bad for him because he will carry irrational and unreasonable expectations because we passed on Quinn. I don't envy Teddy Ginn at all. Of course, won't Phin fans explode if he returns one to the house on opening day or first home game...

I simply love what nfldraftcountdown says about Johnny Beck, he'll be lucky to be a #3 QB. Sweet so we passed on a potential franchise QB to get a potential Franchise BACKUP QB. Makes a lot of sense. I can't wait to see Phins draft grade, possibly they'll get the first ever Q!

Funny thing about Ginn. When we were in position to pick Okoye, Quinn, Willis, Carriker I said we have it MADE, only way to screw this up is to pick Ginn. I even went as far as to say, I will no longer be a Phin fan and I'd be on suicide watch if we pick Ginn. ****, I feel obligated to stay to my word and switch to the 9ers (who I really like right now), but I'm no quitter, no matter how fn stupid I think the Phins can be. After a ton of screaming and punching walls, I relaxed and thought Teddy can really add a lot to our offense but the fn Beck pick still boggles my mind. We need lineman (both O & D) and corners so they pick a backup QB who we have a ton of?????????

Whatever...

Keep down playing Ginn, yet you would have rather drafted Leon Hall, who couldn't cover Ginn in the Michigan game. Makes a lot of sense huh?

his hands are not a concern... his route running could use work but remember hes only been a WR for 3 years... he'll only improve... and his work ethic is great, hes the son of a great coach and he is a hard working player...

the comparison to Williamson is dumb, Williamson had just straight line speed, he didn't have the agility, the body control, the change of direction skills, etc like Ginn has... Ginn is much more than just straight line speed...

love the pick

Ginn could have been an Olympic hurdler had he so chosen. He has a very good work ethic.
