Ginn

It's a stepping stone without a doubt. I think the whole team is picking up confidence!

Yeah with pennignton i can see him getting 900-1,100 yards easy. We have a QB that can give him a catchable ball.

not jsut Pen but Henny himself. Ginn showed a lot of potential today as a number 1 and hagan did very well for a man of his issues of late. ginn showed why he can get seperatoin and how he can play vs top notch players and teams. he is very tough to defend due to his speed.

oh btw, on that 44 yard bomb he smoked mathis one of hte best CB in the game.

I think the whole teams confidence blew up off thsi game and 3 main reasons, 1) the O line showed the team they are going to be the strenght of this team and the way to succeed, 2) the D line showed they can stop teh run and play iwht an attitude of dont bring it here biatch, and 3) the WR know if they get open they will get teh ball with henne and penny, they showed confidence in their QBs

Maybe this is the start of those He's a bust posters dieing down!

I only saw a few catches, from the highlights. Havnt seen the whole game yet. Ginn had a few good grabs in those highlights, and looked to be in fine form. Hopefully he can continue to get better I have faith in him.

Ginn was impressive tonight. Henne had like a 30 or 40 yard pass to Ginn that was called incomplete because Ginn juggled the ball a little as he was going out. Still though, I love the idea of finally using the deep ball to Ted Ginn.

I do believe Ted Ginn will have a big year this upcoming season.

That was a 44 yard BOMB! and he did catch it! Even Satele said he thought it was a great catch! Thouse refs made a bad call ! SIMPLE!

I did like Tony throwin the Red Flag! haha:up:

Ronnie and Ricky 1,000 yards each! Hell after the performance i saw from that Oline blockin tonight i wouldnt doubt it! That was a top 10 D and our running game still was solid!

Finally we learn you start from the inside out !! This Oline could be amazing!

Earth Calling ...

Sure Ginn was great, but let's calm down a little. I can see us all getting frustrated as hell (including Ginn himself) when its week 5 and Pennington is throwing up lame ducks that he has to wait for, or come back for ... taking his life in his hands waiting for the DB's to explode on him. We better hope Penningotn gets hurt next week and Henne gets the job or we'll suck even worse than we did last year !

I know Chad has more TD's than INT's and last time i checked all our starting QB's from the past couple years are backups now.. So ill take my chances with Chad for this year... Henne will be ready for next year and tear it up!

After the bobble, 1 step in, 1 step out. That's what I saw on the replay.

That is a horrible thing to wish for. Why would anybody hope that Pennington gets hurt?

Pennington looked sharp tonight and he displayed a great deal of leadership. Something that this team has lacked for some time. I don't think any of us expect him to come in and be a Pro Bowl QB, but more of a caretaker at QB until Chad Henne is ready to assume the starting job.

Starting a rookie at the most important position on a football team from day 1 usually doesn't work. Sure, in the rare occasion it does, but it is better to have Henne sit a year and learn and then assume the starting job at the beginning of 2009.

Pennington may not be the same QB he used to be, and he may not be a top NFL QB, but he may just be the best QB we have had since Dan Marino. If he is even on par with Jay Fiedler, I think we will be happy with the results.

Chad Pennington is the present, and Chad Henne is the future.

Wait a minute ...

We better hope Penningotn gets hurt next week and Henne gets the job or we'll suck even worse than we did last year !

I guess that's not possible ... is it ?

Ginn looked sharp, great body control and awareness after the catch, kid showed brass balls as the maddog would say.
