I was listening to sports radio in Miami today and a caller came on and said that Ted Ginn Jr. came into the restaurant where he works 3 times and on checks of $120,$75 and $70 left NO tip at all. The caller didn't say what restaurant because he didn't want to get fired. This was today, Tuesday, on the Sid Rosenberg show. The caller said that the guy has a huge attitude and wears more diamonds than a jewlery store. One time he slammed the door in anger, got in the back seat and made his girlfriend drive. I just hope this isn't true because the last thing our team needs is a punk who conducts himself like that in public. Does anyone know anything more about this?

Sounds like your typical primma donna WR. Hope he plays like one now.

"Mrs. Krabappel and Principal Skinner were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me."

Don't believe everything that you hear. Unsubstantiated rumor is just that.

If its a resturant that charges gratuity when you have parties greater than 4-5, I dont leave a tip neither.

*shrugs*

Call me cheap, but if you want to play Uncle Sam with my money, you get just what you asked for, no more, no less.

Yeah right he tipped a stripper the other night $1000 after a lap dance at Tootsies..... How cares? he conducts himself good on TV..... but still how cares. All I care about is that he performs on the field. Do you really care if he tips 5%,10% or 40%?

So what, maybe the server sucked. If I go out and the server sucks I barely leave a tip either. That doesnt mean I have character issues, just means I demand good service. If the server doesnt like not getting tipped maybe they should go to school and get a better job like I did. Has he ever been arrested? I dont think so.

Having a part time job in the food service industry, it's really not all that suprising, and based on the amounts it doesnt look like he was part of a large party of people and I doubt the guy would have called in if thats the case.

I don't care what he tips but one of the big selling points was family and character and we took the guy @#9 and we're paying him huge bucks. I just want him to be a great player for our team but first you hear this kind of stuff and then something bad happens. We've seen it too many times as Dolfans. I didn't enjoy hearing about all the diamonds. If you're a man you don't need all that stuff to prove it. Just be it. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I hope this draft pick works out for the team.

That's B.S. that caller was talking doo doo...when i went to the mini camps, Ginn was the first to come and sign autographs, while he was doing that i was able to walk along the fence with him and have a convo...very stand up down to earth guy. i gave him a welcome to miami then we started talking about osu LOL...i told him your on the dolphins now and i respect you and i actually like you play but i dont like osu...i told him i was a canes fan and he started laughing. he's a great guy.

He is a kid with tons of money now that has no clue how to tip. Just like most people in this world. You have to take the good ones with the bad ones or get a new job.
