Even Ginn himself admitted as much after the game. "I should have made that play," Ginn said of the ball he couldn't corral with 27 ticks left. "I got both hands on it. Guy came through and made a good play. You know, that's what this league is about. Everybody's going to make plays. It's who comes down with it. … That's why I've got the sad face. That's why I'm over here thinking about it nonstop."

Even Ginn has no excuse, for all you who blame Penny, the fact of the matter is the ball hit Ginn in the hands, with 27 ticks left and he should of come down with it....

of course he's going to say that he a competitor...Wilson would tell you he should of made that tackle on the first play of the game. Carpenter will tell you he should of made the field goal. Pennington would probally tell you he should of went to a differenct WR on the sorry excuse for a hail mary.

No excuse to drop that but can you blame him seeing how Penny has thrown that type of ball but what, 2 times in 2 years?

Do you have a link?

anyone think we should have got a pass interference on that play? looked like the defender bumped him before the ball came

The fact is our number 1 receiver could not catch a pass thrown directly to him with about an 18 inch reach advantage against a mismatched backup scrub corner in single coverage in the endzone.

Ted Ginn is not good enough to be a number 1 receiver in this league. Maybe number 2. Even his kick returns have been below average compared to other mediocre returners in the league.

He was drafted way too high by our idiotic coaching staff 3 years ago and we're still paying for it.

I won't be happy until we have a real number 1 receiver and a qb that can stretch the field. And I'll believe that when I see it. I've been waiting since Marino retired to see an offense that doesn't completely embarrass us.

I'm actually quite pleased with the way the rest of the team responded, especially the offensive line, which really came together and showed some awesome run-blocking and pretty good pass protection.

even if he'd a scored, manning would have 20 + seconds. twice our d gave up tds on 80 yd drives that lasted under 30 seconds. nobody should plame the offense here, last nights game was all on the D!

I think your missing the point

Ted Ginn Jr. nearly made a leaping grab for what would have been a 42-yard touchdown in the waning seconds, but the ball glanced off his hands as the Colts' Jacob Lacey contested. Ginn also dropped a ball in the end zone in the first half, forcing the Dolphins to settle for a field goal.

Well I'll give him credit...at least he knows...unlike some fans here. You don't bang the ground...if you had no chance.
