just for a little bit of fun. if you were gm for a day what big move would you make?

Intersting thread...some ideas I would do

Offer this trade

Ronnie Brown for Calvin Johnson....think it would make sense for both teams, for us , it would be easier to replace Ronnie than find a #1 receiver...also, by the time our Defense and Henne are ready to challenge for a championship, ronnie will be about 30, too old or maybe start decling....in 2 years Calvin Johnson & Henne will get thier chemmistry and dee will be ready.....

I dont think detroit ever makes that trade. They really like Kevin Smith.

The Lions would never trade the guy who will probably be the best WR in the league in 2 years.
I would try to get Boldin in here by any means

trade porter-jt-a starting safety-and a 2nd for crabtree.clear out the old ,and start the young.

with the crap crabtree's pulling with the Niners...you'd want to bring him to Miami? are you serious?!!!

I'd try to trade G. Wilson for a draft pick. Since noone will bite, I'll bench him and let Culver and Clemons (and maybe Jason Allen) battle it out for the spot besides Bell.

Alright, I just told the coach what to do and will be fired for that. D*** it!

C. Johnson could already be the best WR in the league. His production is AMAZING when you consider what he's working with.

As an athlete, he's like a cross between R. Moss and TO.

I would be a GM for a day in the off-season, but i would get 3 yes 3 1st round picks, and draft E. Berry, R. McClain, and Dez Bryant... Fixes all of our problems

1.) Give my family season tickets for life
2.) Burn those fight songs by T-Pain and Jimmy Buffet.
3.) Bench Ted Ginn Jr.
4.) Sign off on a stadium bordering South Beach.
5.) Fix the miamidolphins.com website.
6.) Do my best to get Boldin in a Dolphins uniform.

I would trade Jason Taylor to the Redskins again and wait for them to cut him, so we can bring him back for next to nothing and keep the pick we received from them

I would sit ted ginn down and ask him why he doesn't like to catch the ball.

Ted is getting better but he is nowhere near the WR or KR we thought we were going to get when we drafted him, so far. The season is still early, but I have to say a big time WR makes that catch and we win that game (Colts). But I disagree with sitting him down. He is in his third year (wr breakout year) and we have Henne who should get him the ball just a little quicker so let's give it a few weeks. What bothers me the most about Ginn is he is worst than even Marvin Harrison was when it comes to "hitting the dirt" to avoid getting hit.

What would I do as GM... I would try my best to evalute Henne this season and make the decision if he is the guy or not. I know it isn't fair considering we should give him at least another season or two to prove his worth. But I feel like some good QB's are coming out next year and I would hate to miss on one.
