Both of those games were ours'....BOTH of them!! All we had to do was FINISH!

We, arguably, played both of those teams tougher than any other team in the league.

It is PAINFUL!

BTW, MIA wasn't the better complete team. Thats why MIA lost.

They both scored more points than us those games.

Because we got younger.

We had 3 rookies play SIGNIFICANT roles on defense in the Saints game.
When we played the Colts, Sean Smith hasn't seen anyone remotley close to Manning up to that game.
It doesn't help when we play some of the best QBs in the game when we don't have a FS.
The QBs of those teams are exactly why we lost.
Both teams are more complete than us.

Last but not least, this year is all about learning to finish. We're still a young team tryin to figure things out. We got the players to play competitive now we just need a few more pieces to close games out.

Yeah, we really were so close. But in my opinion, we needed those heart-breaking losses. We need these rookies to learn from these kind of losses, before they can just follow the high road of victory.

Now, I'm totally not saying I'm glad we lost, but I'm just putting things in perspective.

It's funny ow our best games have been against the two undefeated teams in the NFL, we outplayed both teams, but in the end we couldn't finnish

In a world where the present is all that matters, losing to those two is unacceptable. Granted the Saints and Colts are 16-0, the Phins had their chance and choked.

Both losses burned a hole in my Dolphins spirit

The fact that we weren't down by 20 by the end of the first half alone says a lot to me.

Easy we lost the Colts game by 2 dropped balls in the endzone or the missed FG in the third qt. If we make that field goal we are kicking a field goal at the end from the 27yad line to win. Also the defining moment in that game was before halftime 4th and inches, we kick a fg. 43 seconds later the Colts do the same thing. Lesson learned in the Jets game. Sparano went for it a few plays later TD!

The Saints game we can blame Ginn for the pick 6, Henne for a pick 6, or Bess for the fumble. Not so much! The real blame falls on the DC until halfway through the 3rd qt he was calling one of the best games I have ever seen. Our blitz packages were great, we were waiting till late in the play clock to get in our coverages, creating turnovers, sacks, pressures, etc. Then BAM! He stopped and into the prevent we go!
