I currently live in Miami, but I'm being transferred to Sydney for three years in about a month from now. I know that 1 PM games Sunday will be 3AM games Monday morning. What options are available as far as watching the NFL in Sydney- (Even better the Dolphins?)

Can any of the American stations be seen there via satellite? I'm not in the armed forces so getting it through them seems unlikely.

If you live in Australia or have lived in Australia, maybe visited or know of someone who live or has lived there; please share with me. It will be awesome to live in Australia, but it will also create a huge void by leaving the "fish-tank" and no longer have first hand Dolphins/NFL access.

Thank you all.

 I thought this thread was about something else...

:rofl3:

Seriously though, get 10 more posts and send a PM to DarkMistress. She should be able to help you out.

I went to Sydney about 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure they have ESPN but that's all I can remember.

Dolfancoolio is an aussie.Maybe he can help you.

If worse comes to worse you can always load the game torrents which are uploaded within 24 hrs of the game.

Live In Australia

I live in Australia, In the ACT, with Foxtel, and on ESPN we get the late Sunday games and Monday night games, But the Dolphins dont have any of those this season, so seeing them may be difficult. However the HOF game will be on TV, and FOX plays 2 games from sunday's games (monday morning over here...bout 5 am its starts :( ) But FOX never say what games they are gonna be, last year they showed alot of Viking games, but you would have to turn the tv on to find out whose playing. As someone else siad you could get the torrents but thats basically all you can get. Not to great over here for Dolphins games this year :(

I'm glad I'm not the only person whose mind is in the gutter.

Check out www.slingmedia.com

you buy this box for like $200, have a family member (or friend) in the US (preferably Miami) attach it to their cable box, and you can watch the games on your computer in Sydney
A buddy of mine who's a Skins fan (yeah, I know, but I still consider him a friend!) lives in Tokyo and just got it. he said it works great

Sorry dude no phins games...Fox sports shows NFC games I know a denver fan who complained to them once to get some Broncos games and they showed some but I think they were against NFC teams...ESPN will show none this year as we have no prime timers which sucks...the best you can do without any extra technology is the highlight shows on ESPN during/in between the prime time games...

However if the phins make the playoffs we might get some... :D
