Today's game isn't about two teams at different ends of the talent spectrum. It's about which team will make the mental mistakes.

Our team isn't as inferior to the Cardinals as last weeks game might suggest. Rather, I'd say the opposite. I would take our RB tandem over James in a second, our LT for the next decade over anyone they have right now, and our young Henne over Leinart, and without a doubt I would take our Front Office over just about any other team in the league right now.

If we can cut down on sloppiness, stupid penalties (usually pre-snap) and our guys can get to the places they are supposed to be at the right times, Miami can match up with anyone in this league.

Anyone agree?

No. We have less talent than just about any other team position by position. We're not the worst but we're a long way from matching up with anyone in the leauge.

It isn't all positions. It may have been a slight exaggeration to say any team in the league, but I don't see a game on the schedule that we can't win. These guys are professionals, too.

The thing is, good teams aren't sloppy....bad teams are.

Good teams don't committ stupid penalties on a regular basis....bad teams do.

Good teams have their players in the right spots.....bad teams don't.

Good teams can get out of their own way....bad teams can't.

Good teams have talent....bad teams have players with a lot of "potential"....

You are what your record says you are....and the Miami Dolphins are 7-27 over their last 34 games for a reason.....and it ain't because we can matchup with anybody in the league.

I think its a great test for our coaching staff to see how they go x's and o's with the best

Well, with all due respect - the team that's taking the field today isn't 7-27. They are 0-2. All this crap about what happened over the last five years doesn't mean jack **** today. Alot of these guys weren't around for those losses. Oh, and the Front Office was busy making the playoffs while we were busy losing.

So today is game 3. Not game 35.
