Well, the family and I are headed to our first Dolphins game ever. To give some backstory: for years the military has moved us all over the world. A couple of years ago, we were stationed here in Florida. As a long time Dolphins fan (and with my kids up and coming fans), we have followed the team but never been to a game; we had seen some other NFL teams, but never our Phins. We always assumed we would have time to go to a game, so we constantly pushed it back... But before you know it, plans change. We found out that soon we will be headed back overseas. So with this possibly our last chance to see our team live for another several years, we pulled the trigger. We will begin the stands for Colts vs Dolphins!

I do do have a few questions for you game day experts: Our seats are not great, but I'd love a chance to see/interact with the players and maybe have a shot at a picture or autograph for the kids (well, and for me too of course :lol: ). Where and when are the best times/ opertunities for something like this?

Also, are there any good tailgates we can "crash"? We would be more than happy to bring our fair share of beer/food, I would love for the kids to see how Dolphins fans do it up.

Go Phins!

Ignore the stadium full of Colts fans.

I hope you have a great time.May your travels overseas be safe.

I really hope the team shows a good fight IMO.Keep the expectations low.

Just enjoy yourself and dont have too high of expectations for the actual team.

Not much help I see on answering his questions lol. I would have loved to hav.e helped but because of military service I have only went to away games.

Not a ton of help but went to a pre season game where I got our all star punter Brent fields autograph. I was a kid so I jjust basically ran through the stands to the sideline railing and started hollering when players would come by after the game. I'm sure it's much different for a regular season game and that was nearly ten years ago

Not going to have much chance to interact with players the best you can do is get inside the stadium early and go down to the bottom of the stadium and watch them come out and warm up etc..

You can go to the Grande Plaza and interact take pictures with the cheerleaders if that's any consolation.

Oh sure get him in trouble with his wife great advice lol. Just kidding

Like Albert said, you won't get a chance to interact with the players. Live games are awesome, you can feel the energy and the momentum swings. The one thing that takes time to get use to is the TV/injury time outs. You usually see commercials or go do something in the house/bar and don't notice. There is A LOT of dead time during games!

You need to know where to buy beer...your going to need it...
