good article about rodrique wright

Thanks. That really gets me pumped about this kid.We might have got the steal of the draft getting this kid in the 7th round.I heard he may not be ready till after this season but it could be worth the wait.

Good read.He has all the talent and skills that is for sure.Needs to play a lot harder and not take plays off.Under saban and capers he should be special. Can't wait to see him and manny dominate in the future.

KID?

There is no such thing as a 6' 5" 305 lb. KID!

Next year, Wright will prove to all the doubters what he's all about. Those teams that passed on him on draft day are going to be sorry. He's got potential to be a moster for us. Add in M. Wright / K. Vickerson / M. Roth and we've got a rock solid, young DL on the way.....

PHINZ RULE!!!

:yeahthat:

...and what i like about rodrique wright is the fact that he can play defensive end in the 3-4 and defensive tackle in the 4-3...:D

That website would make Travis Minor sound like Barry Sanders. I'm a homer but I stopped reading articles from that website because they poor it on too thick.

That website couldn't be more "homer" than if I was running it. Nice to read though.
I didn't see much that was homerish about the article itself though. It acknowledged, for example, that Wright had a "lackluster senior campaign" and that he has a "penchant for taking plays off" (although the "bunch of tenured All-Pro caliber defensive linemen" is at best unproven).

wait a min "he'll be playing for a coach who is known for lighting a fire under players who are deemed to be inconsistent in their approach (see Manny Wright and Chris Chambers)." when was chambers ever thought to be inconsistant in his work approach?

I'm not sure if by that they mean inconsistent in preparation or conditioning or whatever. If they meant that, I disagree. But Chambers has always been inconsistent on the field. That changed in the second half of the season, hopefully it will carry over for the rest of his career.
