Good article .....FAQ after parting with Grier

I want the Fins to get fixed, thats the main goal, always was!

Firing Grier was step one, I can actually root for the Dolphins again, i swore id never root for any franchise that Grier was a part of and at least that obstacle is now gone.

I still love Baker tho.
I was out if changes weren't made. They were. I'm so f*cking in baby!!!!!

I dont know why this is bold text, didn't select I but the universe thought it was necessary.

I like that this article states that with the Thursday game it gives the Dolphins/ Champ Kelly time to trade assets....Brooks has been great but I do not think you ever want the leagues leading tackler....too many opportunities for that player to tackle.

I have seen others say keep Waddle. I do not think they should if they can get something good. The Dolphins need to stop paying WR's (I myself have gone back to this after being greatly excited about Tyreek and Waddle}. Invest money on the Oline....build the trenches.

Hopefully Paul, Savinanaa, and Grant work but do not hang onto them if they do not excel by year 2 or 3

Achane....I love him....So must many other gm's .....RB's can be created great with awesome Olines. Trade him too if you can get a high pick for an Oline

Keep Chop and trade the others....then please Finheaven do not lose it if Chop being featured does not get 10 sacks. He will need Grant and whomever else 2 years from now to help create mismatches. I am rooting for Ruben Bain Jr.

I did predict Grant and Jonah as our first 2 picks this year. Was patting myself on the back more then than now but please insert the name and draft Oline studs and Dline studs.....Hurts was benched for Tua on the same team but looks amazing in the NFL.....I am sorry, Saban sucks but is not an idiot, that is proof that Lane Johnson is the most haunting name in Grier's awful history.....Sorry Dion!

I Love my Dolphins and hope they can one day make us all Happy....today marks new hope for us all.....Be patient, it will take some time.

Trading up for Dion Jordan and passing on Lane Johnson was Ireland, though.

Yes but Grier was in the organization and I choose to lay equal blame....because I am petty that way. Do you remember where you were when they picked Jordan. I was driving on wintery roads to a hockey tournament and listening to the draft. We almost did not make it as I was trying to explain to my wife why i was dropping so many F bombs. Always the trenches I said! She said pay attention to the road.

Plenty of posts here on what FH thinks should happen. we need a thread on what FH thinks a COMPETENT GM/COMPETENT new HC would do.
I doubt either/both would strip the team to 5-10 players and start over. I doubt they'd release any '25 rookie R3 or higher. I suspect they'd grit their teeth and keep TT (unless a team worse than Miami offers an unreasonable sum).
Should be an entertaining and enlightening discussion

Im on whiskey and understood every word. 😆

I also wanted Lane Johnson, that was such an OBVIOUS pick, when we traded up I instantly thought the only player worth making that move for was Lane.... and Grier, Grier'd
Grier wasn't even in the front office when Dion Jordan was drafted lmfao...go do some research on team history and timelines...no doubt Grier would've fvckd that draft if he was the guy...he took slow and weak Charles Harris over TJ Watt...but DJ wasn't on him lol.

Grier was in charge of scouting, hes not obsolved of taking blame. Maybe not 100% of it, but hes definitely taking part of it. Lane Johnson was a no brainer, any mediocre scout should have seen that and 100% of "heads of scouting" should have.

What does that mean? Dolphins should trade him because he is the leading tackler?
Zach Thomas used to lead the league in tackles often. I guess he shouldn’t be in the HoF?

NE was saying the same stuff last year at this time.

Then they hired Vrabel and took off.
I remember when, in 2023, the Dolphins “took off” to the tune of 6-2 like the Patriots right now. 😂

Blaming the scout not in management making the decisions is asinine and straight up stupid lol...you're better than that...he's had more than enough crap to be blamed for, this is not one of those.

I don't want Champ ****ing Kelly making a single move.

That whole FO needs to be gone.

It starts today, the next game, every game. There is no wasting time and selling fans on a 5 year plan. That guy was fired!
As long as McMoron is at the helm, there will be no Super Bowl for Miami. Period. The end.

Are you kidding me,

In 2013, Chris Grier's title was Director of College Scouting for the Miami Dolphins. He held this position from 2007 to 2015 before being promoted to General Manager in January 2016.

And you put no blame on him for passing on Johnson and taking Jordan?

The Browns thought the same way when BB was their coach. A lot of Lions fans said this the first 3 or so years with Campbell. They’ve been correct so far. The list is long.
