Yeah, I'm not sure what he was trying to say other than the plays are not creative enough and we don't run enough plays where Tua throws outside the numbers.

There were no plays where more than 1 wr was running deep. All the plays were 3 short crossing routes. Hence his amazing yards per throw average.

They all had a streak and deep post corner with digs...

thats 2 deep options
 
The reason why Fitzpatrick is able to come in and throw for more yards is because they're facing a defense unable to adjust in time to his tendencies, defense mostly playing prevent, and he has nothing to lose. The other teams game plans for Tua who likes, Bowden, Grant, and hits the TEs like Fitz does. Whereas, Fitz likes Ford and Gesicki, and Parker when healthy. Different qb likes different wrs.

You guys forget when Matt Moore would come in and light it up but when he was counted on to start he sucked. Tua is taking care of the ball and we should be relying on the run game more. Oline is run blocking much better now.

You guys that are in love with tua have blinders on. Facts. He never looks past the first level.

Will he progress and become a great qb? I hope so. But right now he is nothing more than an average game manager afraid to throw past 6 yards, unless a guy is wide "Alabama " open.
