Good DATA Brown VS Benson

Last week he was reported out wooing Rodgers and Smith, 2 of the drafts top QB'S coming out of this years draft. Everyone in the MIAMI media is writing about how much time he has spent with Smith, how he thinks Smith only at age 20, could blossom into one of the better QB'S in the NFL.

I don't have any problem with your view that Saban is not letting anyone see his hand. But, the only place you got the information that Saban was "wooing" the QB's was your imagination! He doesn't have to "woo" anyone - these aren't free agents. What he WAS doing was both a) his due diligence in examining the QB's to see if they might be franchise guys - he would be a fool NOT to - regardless of your view of AJ - right? In fact, Saban giving equal opportunity to Frerotte indicates he's not as high on AJ as you are; b) Saban may also have been doing this so as to NOT give a signal to anyone as to who he would draft.

On the other hand, Saban also said only 30% of QB's drafted in the top 10 actually succeed - was he tipping his hand toward a RB? If he's trying to mess with Crennel - that's NOT the thing to say, dude! Who knows what's on his mind. Even sportswriters haven't really delved into that.

Now look at the NEGATIVES ON BROWN=>
Negatives: While he has excellent speed, he needs room to get to top speed and gathers a bit before making the upfield cut along the perimeter … Needs to develop more hip swerve and better moves in order to elude in the open. … Has some stiffness in his hips, which is sometimes exposed when he tries to run routes in the short area (takes a soft angle approach rather than run crisp routes) … Has excellent straight-line speed, but does not have the stop-and-go action to plant and redirect when looking for the cutback lanes.

This is a MAJOR problem. Listed as BENSONS positives are his ability to be elusive and hit a running lane. Benson is the BETTER NFL BACK!

Once again, completely bias. Is this supposed to be an objective analysis? Why not print Benson's negatives? Why not print Brown's positives? Or Cadillac's? Had you printed all of these, and then analyzed it objectively - your post would have credibility. As it is, it's just more bias politicking - and nothing more than that. Period. :)
