Hey guy's I've been a member for a while now but this is my first thread, so I hope this has not been posted yet if so I do apologize.

I have to agree w/these sites, I believe that we had a really good draft that will have an immediate impact on our team. I trust Cam and Randy they have a lot more experience evaluating players than all of us do.I'm looking forward to seeing Ginn and Beck play in a Dolphin uniform.

We got graded quite well on our draft according to these 2 sites

We got a B- fro Dr Z on SI

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/dr_z/04/29/draft.report.card/3.html

We actually got an A+ from the Sporting News

Yes, smart people. I agree we had a hell of a draft and am very pleased. If everyone wasnt so damn hyped up and obsessed with not getting Quinn, they would come to their senses and realize the quality players we just drafted.

Not at the Herald, they gave us a C-. The worst grade of all the teams except for Detroit (C-). I think its a crock, personally I would grade us as a B+. I think most ppl that grade us low are counting on Quinn being a franchise QB, but I think that Beck has the same ability and was scouted with high marks in Accuracy, and Leadership. Good enough for me.

Ginn can run, is a deep threat, played well against top opponents and can return both punts and kickoffs. Still, there's a reason that Cameron got booed by Dolphins fans when he came out to talk about this pick. The fans really wanted Brady Quinn. The Dolphins believe they got a quarterback prospect just as good in the second round with John Beck. Most of the rest of the draft was spent searching for beef along both lines and filling sundry needs, such as punter (Brandon Fields).
Grade: D
This is yahoos draft grade.

When the smoke clears and the boys hit camp I think many people will be changing their tune about this draft... Got some real coachable OL guys who can play multiple positions... Love to see what Hud does for them... A Punishing FB, my favorite kind... the punter we needed and some serious size for the middle of our defense... Then the real steal... Booker... Speedy, shifty big playmaker on returns and in the backfield... Gives us sooo many more offensive looks since Ricky and Ronnie's skills overlap so much. And of course the 'rocket-man'... Then you have a tougher, more accurate Brady Quinn... Look at what the team needed and forget the name Brady Quinn...

I like r draft. The thing that is funny about all these grades that are bad is because we did not draft Quinn. If he was not there and we took Ginn people would say it was a good pick. The reason Sporting news rates us high is because they did not like Quinn at all. In there final QB ratings before the draft they had he at #4 behind Russel, Kolb, and Beck.

Yahoo practically failed us and if you look at the ESPN draft grade polls, we get a strong F grade.

Wow, strange to see. I've seen Fs, Ds and Cs and 'worst draft' labels. I have not seen many, if any, draft grades. Surprising, but deserved I think.

I tip my hat to Mueller and Cam for having the balls to go with 'their' pick and not the 'media's' pick. I hope they were right.

That Sporting News reviewer must be smoking something ... says that Beck could be starting Week 1. Right.

Draft grades come, draft grades go, but insanely ill-informed sports writers live forever.
