Good First Look/Al Michaels is an ***!

I like Michaels and Madden. I don't expect anyone to kiss our butt on National TV. It makes no difference anyway.

The original poster just has his players mixed up, Gilmore clearly wasn't the worst, did you even see his great catch?

That's okay though, you have 4 more preseason games left to get it right

My dislike of Madden has nothing to do with his views on the Dolphins. He just drives me nuts.

Wow I disagree wholeheartedly. Personally I think you're grasping at straws there, he's always called a fair game and has never said anything negative about the Phins that they didn't deserve. He's one of the best in the business (if not THE best)

I agree

Did anyone else thing our lines looked horrible. Seth McKinney still sucks, and our d-line got NO pressure. Our o-line only made a couple good holes all night, seems to me like this new scheme hasn't been grasped by everyone yet.

It was a good first look at the Dolphins. Feely did not look sharp. Getting injured right away doesn’t help much. The starting O line did not get it done either. I think the second O line looked the best. Gus had betters looks, and a better pocket. Feely didn’t step up in the pocket, but didn’t have much of a pocket to step into. Gilmore was the worst player out there. He dropped numerous passes thrown right in his hands.

Rosenfels and Berlin looked as good as anybody. If Berlin had not thrown that late int I would have said that he had the best outing of the four. Holmes, Rader, and Welker looked good. Each had at least at least one nice catch and dew of any drops. I think it was Jamar Martin at full back blocking for Sammy Morris, but he made some great blocks. I was going to say that Sammy had the best night at RB, but I had to say that first. Lamar didn’t look impressive; Minor had a few decent runs. I think they held Ricky back on purpose.

The defense didn’t seem to get together until the end of the second quarter. Then fell apart halfway through the forth quarter. After watching the game I’m more worried about the secondary, then I am the D line. It’s still early and don’t want to judge to early but I’m pretty sure that I’m going to miss Surtain. Overall I think that the offence out played the defense. I know it sounds funny talking about the dolphins, everyone is still adjusting to the new scheme.

:topic: One last note. Al Michaels is an ***. He never has anything nice or complimentary to say about the dolphins. I hate watching any Dolphins game that he is announcing. The guy has some problem with the Dolphins and it shows during the broadcast. If he never announced another Phins game again, it would be a great day for Phins fans everywhere ***.:fire:

What did you think

I think you were on the wrong channel....

BTW.... as far as Michaels is concerned, you don't have to worry... the Fins don't have any more prime time games for him to call this year so your wish has come true...

I just don't get this post.
What game were you watching? Re: Al Michaels and Gilmore.
