I mean he is going to command BIG DOLLARS . . .quality LT . . . solid/great RT . . . I mean analyze one or 2 mistakes WAYY to much on this board. Vernon is a huge part of this OLine . . . and me personally, I don't think we will resign him . . . unless Vernon stays for less money. Its not what I want . . . but we have the Ronnie contract comming up, and he is gonna need big money as well, plus we want to maybe bring in some quality free agents . . . who knows . . . u just don't wanna give LT money to your RT . . . when u already are paying the most money for LT in the league in Jake Long. If the front office feels as if they can get a guy in round 2 or 3 who can come in and start from day one . . . hey they gotta do what they gotta do.
Understand, Vernon I am assuming is going to land a contract around 20 million guaranteed and 6 years and 50 million . . . I don't think I am going overboard in saying that . . . that is big dollars, but he is a quality LT . . . this isn't LJ Shelton.
U wanna pay all of yours guys . . . we may franchise him if nothing else, but I doubt we give him those big bux in a long term deal like that . . . I just don't think we will.
