Some other tidbits from the article...

San Francisco offensive line Chris Foerster is interviewing with the Dolphins for the same position, the Post has learned.

Foerster was the Dolphins offensive coordinator in 2004.

Fox Sports reported on Sunday that that the Colts had offered Foerster their job as offensive line coach, so it appears he’s not sold on Indianapolis.

Tennessee receivers coach Shawn Jefferson is expected to become the Dolphins receivers coach.

So it looks like the Dolphins are filling out the offensive staff...have an o-line coach in mind and a WR coach...

Good, I wish him all the best but I didn't want to see the drama that could have occurred had Campbell taken a lesser role. We need to be moving forward.

You could not have the x head coach on the staff with the new head coach. At the first sign of trouble, it would cause a riff in the locker room. Good luck to Dan wherever he lands.

Best of luck. I believe he will be a HC in the NFL eventually, but he wasn't ready yet. Unfortunately, it's for the best that he leave the team now. The split allegiances in the locker room wouldn't have been good in the long run.

Re: Gase's staff, I'm told nothing has changed from y'day. It's possible, per @AbramsonPBP, that Campbell is gone. But I haven't heard it.

Campbell's legacy to me will always be about Miami beating Tennessee and Houston in convincing fashion. It was a fun 2 week period that got them to 3-3. Sure it went downhill after that but I appreciated actually feeling good about the team even though it was a small sample size.

I agree, considering I went travelled all the way to that Tennessee game for that I'm glad it mademy vacation an enjoyable one.
