Well I don't know what to tell you about the Bills right now. I don't know if I should pick you up about your teams talent and future or tell you the Bills seem to be in trouble based on their lack of talent it's really hard to tell with the coaching. The Bills need a new coach that's for sure, but their talent level is a problem as well. Your Oline is big, but doesn't produce, you have very little in the way of LB's, your secondary is young but are they really as good as they were supposed to be? Your QB situation is a huge question mark right now and is Trent the absolute worst QB the Bills could have drafted for the cold they play in half the year?
I think JP's time as a pro QB is nearing an end, he just isn't pro QB material. As for the WR position I don't think the Bills are that good, I think Evans speed is his only attribute, and Parrish, Reed and Hardy are going to need a real good QB before they show their value. The Bills TE position I see promise in Schouman but Royal has to go. I think the one area of your team that is really good is your backfied, both Lynch and Jackson are for sure the real deal.
The Bills need a new GM and Owner for that matter. All you can do as a Bill fan is hope that RW has had enough and sells the team, but Bill fans fill the seats and win or lose and RW makes his money, so it isn't likely he sells. I think If Jim Kelly somehow gets his hands on the team the Bills will suddenly become a serious contender or at least show the effort of a serious contender.
Not to rub your nose in the losing, but I seriously question Bill fans opinion and knowledge of this sport. I would constantly ask them about not beating good teams or not having a winning record each of the last two seasons or their Offensive and defensive rankings and Bill fans would ignore all that and talk trash about how good they were gonna be regardless of their statistics all based on 7 wins the previous season. It went on all summer and 5 games through the start of the 08 season. Other than the Lions I think the Bills are the only team in the league this year without a win against a team with a winning record.
The Bills can do what the Fins did and go from a bad team to a good team in just one off season, but they need the right people in place first and than they can fix the talent on the team. You can have talent, but if that talent doesn't fit the schemes it may as well be no talent. I would like to say I feel for Bill fans, but that would be a lie. I enjoy the fact that they are being hit so hard with reality.
I know this won't change the way they do business but it is gratifiying to see them get a cold hard slap of reality for their bias view of their team. I respect the fact that you come here and pay your respect, but in all honesty it could have been so much easier for Bill fans had they shown a modicum of class and reality in the process.
