The good news is that in 3 of the losses this year we were inside the 10 yard line in the last 2 minutes with a chance to tie (Atl, N.E. or a chance to win Buff). What this says is that we are competetive with anyone when we play well. The bad news is they have to learn how to finish. Good teams find a way to finish at the end of the game. While I know that some would love to blame Gus for all of it Chambers dropped a ball that elite receivers HAVE to catch in the clutch and in Buff. Brown fumbled the game away. This team is going in the right direction and when Saban gets them to the point (and I think he will) that they learn to finish things will be bright for the Dolphins. This is the difference between 6-3 and 3-6.

I agree with you except I think we need to learn how to START games... then we won't have to worry about how we finish them.

Look at the wins and losses. When we can't score early, we lose. When we get it going early, we win. Simple but true. We left a lot of points on the board yesterday in the 1st half yesterday. It should have been 17-0 at halftime.

That's the type of stuff that kills you. If we had executed and finished in the 1st half, the finish would have been irrelevant... we would have killed them and the clock... game over.

Good news is we won 3 games....bad news is we lost 6 games. Good news is we have a running game....Bad news is we have a O.C. that doesn't use the running game.

Absolutely 100% correct!!!

The first thing I said to my cousin at halftime was...right now...it could easily be 17-0...you watch...it's going to come back and bite us in the A$$...and guess what...it did!!!

Go Fins!!!

You know I have not agreed with you much but...now I'm starting to think that our OC is calling bad plays...we should be running the ball more...and I'm also starting to feel that...Ronnie should be getting the ball much more...Ricky taking carries away from Ronnie is hurting his game...especially in the second half...but that does not matter b/c we don't run the ball in the second half!!!

Go Fins!!!

I agree with everything. There is no reason that Ronnie Brown doesn't get the ball in the second half. Heck he should've given it to him on the last drive when it was 1st and goal from the six. I just don't understand , every week there is something that hurts us. Mcmichael fumbling that ball on the 10 right before half, Chambers drop in the Endzone at the end of the game, the lack of running the ball in the second half.

There is no reason why Brown doesn't have 20-25 carries a game. Give Ricky 6 or 7 on short yardage, but mostly Brown should be the workhorse.

We need to start finishing games.

I hope we bounce back and beat the snot out of the Browns. Our secondary really gotta step it up a notch.

Either way i'm gonna keep rooting and keep believing for as long as i can.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
