My feeling is that if Miami doesn't get a starting OG in the draft (Brandon Scherff, La'el Collins, etc), then we'll use the extra cap space to sign OG Evan Mathis.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Eagles LG Evan Mathis recently came up in trade talks with the Dolphins.

Per reporter Jeff McLane, Mathis' name was "discussed." It's the second time in two months Mathis has been connected to the Dolphins, but it doesn't appear a trade is imminent. Mathis is skipping voluntary workouts as Chip Kelly decides his future. Mathis' release remains a possibility.
