I'm afraid that we may come out and play a great game and everyone will say "Well, looks like we finally found our guy!", or that we'll lay an egg and it'll be "What were they thinking putting this guy in charge?"...

We've seen too many examples of the first weeks of an interim coach not being indicative of their abilities...I'm going to try and wait at least three games before forming an opinion.

I'll be disappointed if we get anything less than a full Harbaugh-esque sideline explosion from the Danimal.

Fair or not Dan Campbell will be judged by finheaven based on this one game. I'm more sure of that than I am of waking up tomorrow. I wish you could bet on this stuff. If we lose there will be countless threads with the theme being "same old crap" along with 50 "Ryan Tannehill Sucks" threads. If we win there will be bozos starting "playoff threads" we may even be lucky enough to get a wild card update from someone showing we're only a couple games out and probably even a "Super Bowl" thread if we blow them out. It's the nature of finheaven.

Haha...I hope so too....I envision it going something like this:

He's never been a head coach at any level...

He's taking over a whining, underachieving team filled with snitches and back-stabbers.

You can't really judge him on the first SERIES of games.

He didn't get a training camp or off-season to build the team the way HE wants.

It would be great if they win against the Titans and turn around their season.

It might hinge ENTIRELY on Brandon Albert at least on the offense.

The defense needs a make-over no matter what happens, unless the rookie LBers end up being real players. Wake and OV should be playing in other uniforms next year

I don't really care who wins the game...that isn't what I am going to be looking at. I want to see change in attitude and philosophy. If we get the same old crap...screw him too!

it will be play by play here

the key is they need to play better on the areas where they were bad in the first 4 games. forget Wins and Losses. Does the offense stay competitive in the first half? Does the defense have a three and out in the first? Can they convert in redzone? f those things happen, ten they have improved. things have way of working out, and the W's will come.....but if they sit here flat again in the first half, then it has to be personnel

It certainly isn't fair to judge Campbell on this one game...but that doesn't change the fact this is ONE HELL OF AN IMPORTANT GAME. 1-4 and this team is most likely toast, or 2-3 and there is still a decent shot at a wildcard.

I can't fight this feeling that our D is going to impress and our O is going to still be stuck in the mud. Perhaps I read too much into the most recent coordinator press conferences, but there seems to be a general lack of acknowledgement from Lazor that anything is wrong with his gameplan (he uses the phrase "we just need to execute" as much as anyone).

Win or lose, I REALLY hope someone films Dan Campbell's pregame pep talk. I can't wait to see what he says/does. I got the over on "over/under number of bat heads Dan Campbell bites off to show his team he means business."
