Good read on Hartline

Impressive. Just the type of guy we want, out works everyone to make the lineup. Props to the kid

Parcells continues to load this team with guys who work hard and have great desire to succeed. I'll take a team full of players like that over a diva playmaker everytime.

Didnt like the pick, heard we reached. But My philosophy is, I dont care at what pick you take'em, just bring some good football players in.... people talk about reaches and steals, I like to look at the whole draft overall including URFA. Bring 5 eventual starters on every draft regardless of the position and you'll be a talent loaded team... Plain and simple...

Cool article man, looks like this kid has a great character and will to succeed. My buddy is a die hard buckeys fan he said we were gonna love this kid. So far so good..

Could Peter King be right for once ?

No, if everyone here thinks he's an idiot than this piece should be disregarded as well. People will attack anyone who says anything bad about the Dolphins. We are not a perfect football team (except in 72) we have weaknesses and every win we get will be a challenge. I rather let what we do on the field tell us what kind of team we have rather than what some columnist or crazed fans have to say.

As of now we 0-0 just like everyone else. Game 1 is going to tell us a lot about the Dolphins and the Falcons!

GO FINS!!!!!

I think the Hartline pick could turn out to be the best draft pick that we made this past draft. Vontae Davis was picked because of potential. Pat White was picked because of need. Sean Smith was picked because you cant pass up a guy of his ability regardless of your needs. Patrick Turner was picked because of our need for a big WR and his potential to be a stud in the future. But Hartline...that was counterintuitive. There was no good reason to pick Hartline. We had just picked a WR. He wasn't like Sean Smith, obviously the best player on the board. I was thinking Duke Robinson all the way...and happy to think about having DR on the board. When I saw BH crawl across the tracker, I was like, WTF?

But the coaches obviously looked past production. They looked at ability. They looked at circumstance (why his production had dropped off so abruptly). And I think they looked at this guys passion for the game. Hes the kind of guy that if you lost all of your CBs due to injury (or swine flu) he would go out and play CB and give a great effort. Somehow this FO saw what no other FO saw in BH (not many fans, either). If he works out like it looks like he might, IMO, he would be the gem of this class.

I say this because Hartline was coming off a sub par season. So often, the scouts get caught up in production and statistics (see the reaction by the ESPN experts when we picked BH). Its early, but early returns look good.

Why am I always hearing conflicting information when it comes to his speed? Can somebody please send this kid on a fly pattern and catapult him the ball already.

I didn't care for the Hartline pick at all or the White pick for that matter but hopefully Hartline turns out to be a decent player. I'm from Oklahoma and Duke Robinson got a lot of hype but he also has questionable work ethic and got dominated early on in the BCS Championship game and then went on to have a terrible workout.

I know he was taken completely off some boards. I'll take the draft we put together..I think its going to pay huge dividend in the long run.
