Good Schiano Read!

I thought he would run to Miami. But that job isn't what it was a month ago. It's a disaster and a headache not needed by Schiano. Unless Miami throws just un-godly money at him I don't think he goes there.

Mich St is a nice job if he is offered. And I could see him staying a year at Rutgers then making a move after NEXT year when more good jobs stay open
 
I think Schiano stays put. He's already done a lot of the heavy lifting involved with turning the program around and now it's time to enjoy his hard work. Miami is a mess and right now life is good for Rutgers, especially Schiano. So why go back in time to when things weren't as good? That's what a return to Miami would be, a step back in time.

It is a step back but it is a lot easier to take that next step to a championship at a team like Miami than Rutgers. One step back two steps forward type thing. Him staying until JoePa retires though makes sense to me though I'm not sure if Joe is grooming anyone on that staff to take over for him and if the University would consider that when choosing a new coach.
 
Florida St might come open too and that job is better than Miami right now.
