Plus, I read they were interested in Mariota. The last 2 times they have played 'chutes & ladders' on draft day to get a QB (Weeden & Johnny rehab) hasn't exactly worked out.

Casario may have ended up being the best pick although who knows since Belicheat calls the shots, and Licht looked promising, but between Lake Dawson, Ray Farmer and Dennis Hickey, despite Ross's best attempt to screw it up, we ended up doing pretty damn well.

Consider this report of the interview of Farmer, whom the Dolphins reportedly said was someone they badly wanted to hire.

Farmer's name should be very familiar to Dolphins fans. Last month he was a favorite to get Miami's GM job. Farmer impressed Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and quickly moved to the top of the list.

Also, while im not making excuses for Farmer(i was never impressed with the guy), the issue in Cleveland is Haslem. Hes so bad its scary. Statements like "Jerry Jones without the football acumen" have been made, and seeing as how Jones has an absolute **** football acumen its a pretty indicative of how awful things have gotten up there. I'm happy we didn't get Farmer. He also knew there was a good chance that Gordon would get suspended and didn't draft a WR to replace him. He could've selected Beckham at 9. The only good thing he did was get a 1st from Bills. Hickey did a good job getting 2 starters in Juwan James and Jarvis Landry. Hopefully Billy Turner will become a starter this year. He also got Terrance Fede in the 7th round and Chris McCain as an u drafter free agent.
