a win is a win last time i checked. daunte will be just fine everyone. he looks to be moving better and getting more confident as the season progresses. the d came up huge and will continue to do so, good first win, look for good things to come.
 
Daunte is getting better?? I never noticed. I thought he looked like crap again. He hangs onto the ball too long, can't or doesn't step into his throws and misses too many open receivers yet.

I must somewhat agree, I have kept my mouth shut thus far, but I not huge on Daunte. He is lacking something in a big way!
 
I believe a win is a win as well....Would you rather have lost....Look I am not the biggest Daunte fan but the O Line has to give him some time....I don't care if you had freaking Joe Montana back there, you would get the same results....The offense is going to explode against the Texans....There were shades of greatness today....The nice drive for the TD....We are going to be just fine....
 
i agree, if we can build on this win, and go into texas and beat the texans the pats have cincy in cincy we could have a realistic shot at going into new england for a shot at the afc east lead

my cause for alarm is Daunte is NOT improving... he's actually getting worse. Yes, he didn't throw a pick this game... but his numbers were wayyy down. His decisions were still piss-poor. He rolls out in the flat and gets chased down by 300-lb DTs... his throws are not on target. He rarely (if ever) throws it away. Granted, the o-line is horrible, but Fiedler and Frerotte BOTH put up better #'s behind similarly horrible o-lines.

I absolutely agree....I had posted last week after we lost to the Jills to see where we are around week 8....We could very well possibly be atop the AFC East....Did you see what the Broncos did to the Pats tonight....

how can anyone look at this game and say daunte sucks? this offensive line is the worst in the nfl. yes, worst than oakland. welker has been our best reciever thus far. chambers IS NOT getting open.watch the game again.

lets see no mistake and a win um mmmmm i bet our QB's in the past would have made mistakes!!!!! But daunte played better than them and hes only like 75% imagine when hes 100%!!!!!

In order for any QB to succeed they must have at least a few seconds to throw the ball....All the blame cannot fall solely on Daunte....
 
It is going to take time, especially with the depleted oline, but I have faith this offense will begin to click soon. On another note, between the booing at the stadium and the negativity on here I am begining to realize the Dolphins have a lot of terrible fans, dissapointing..:shakeno:

And the jets play indy next week, the pats got cincy, and the bills got Minnesota!!!!!! we got houston!!!!!
after next week
Jets 3-1
Pats 2-2
Phins 2-2
Bills 1-3
Um thats seems pretty good for all those doubters to be right back in the thick of things after two more games!!!!! and the following week we will play the pats for 2nd place and the jets will faulter!!!!!!

If I am not mistaken I think the Jets will be 2-2 after next week....I think Indy will beat the Jets and Cincy will beat the Pats....
