Just as I am yelling what a f'ing idiot Welker is for catching the ball out of bounds. Woops.

That is not the first time he has done that.
 
please explain

WHy it goes to the 40? I have a freind who thinks it is a blown call by the refs. Any proof i can Proove him wrong?
 
If he stands outside and then catches the ball, it counts as if the ball went out of bounds. That is a penalty that gives the ball to the receiving team at the 40.

He did it once before.

Your friend is wrong. Once again HE HAS DONE IT BEFORE!
 
Just like holding the ball and stepping out of bounds makes the ball out of bounds, the same thing as standing out of bounds and touching the ball.

He didnt step out of bounds, come back in and the first to touch the ball. He caught it out of bounds which is the equivalent of the ball being OB. Every commentator said it, the refs were right there watching welker. Come on man.
 
Oh i belive it.. i jsut can;t use this as proof he is wrong, i need like somthign from a rule book or somthing
