It sure was encouraging last night to hear after the Saints won, how last year they had 13 losses and this year a new head coach. Hell, we had less losses this year and we will have a new coach, but we also didnt see our stadium get torn apart by a hurricane...so maybe we also can turn it around and be one game away from the superbowl at this time next year!
 
I was thinking the same thing. This is why I love the NFL.

3-13, Makes 6-10 feel a tiny bit better!
 
If only we could get Drew Brees.....errr, thanks Nick!
 
i hope they win the superbowl and brees is named the superbowl mvp so that saban can kill himself

I never understood the Culpepper move. All the Dolphins had to do was trade up to the 9 and take Leinart or Cutler and they'd have gone 8-8 or 7-9 at worst with an emerging star at QB.
 
Culpepper will return healthy next season and he will guide us to the playoff.

I really hope you are right. But, I think, that is more hope than anything. We really have nothing written in stone that would make me believe that this is a matter of fact reality.

I am not even sure cpep will return to pre 2005 form.

You can't just assume the other teams would be willing to trade, and Culpepper was being praised heavily for his recuperation at the time.
 
i heard a rumor today that jay fiedler may return to play for us . doesnt this make for a party in south beach ?:sidelol:
 
That is proof that in the NFL...you are never that far away unless you are the cards or lions.

the saints brought in a great coach, and had a great draft.....(a 7th round WR from Hofstra).....and here we are.

Never lose hope. Lets bring in a good coach and have a good draft.

And I still want rob ryan. but, it wont happen.
