Dominque Jones and Marquies Gray.
It’s rare that a unit plays better without their top two players at a position, but that has been the case for Miami while Jordan Cameron and Dion Sims have been sidelined by their concussions. MarQueis Gray and Dominique Jones have filled in admirably, becoming assets in the run and pass game. Jones, who caught three passes for 42 yards against the Jets, scored his first NFL touchdown and drew a huge defensive holding call after the two-minute warning, putting New York against the wall. -sunsentinel.

I know the announcer was saying Miami don't use their Tight ends. That has to change with these new dynamic duo of tight ends. just imagine the running game with the return of Dion Simms and marquies Gray as blockers.

Phins up!

We still need a seam threat TE...maybe Gray can do it. They have both played well though...although the drop on 3-6 for Jones really hurt

I love how Jones and Gray have impacted this team. With Gase's decision to lean on running the ball they have certainly came alive with their blocking and their receiving skills are underated. However, let's not poo poo on Sims. When he's healthy is a great blocker and a better weapon in the passing game. This is just my opinion. Sims will be a great asset for the team when he comes back. Sims, Gray, and Jones are a very good trio that fits perfectly what Gase wants to do on offense.

I've thought about this and I've checked off TE as a pressing need next season after watching these two. Sims, Jones and Gray will be perfectly fine.

Jones has played for a total of 8 NFL teams. Came from a school nobody has heard of, Division II ball.

Talk about a feel good story.

Holy hell talk about your perseverance. True journeyman!

But yeah, definitely digging these two guys - seems like one of them steps up each week, Gray or Jones. They seem to fit what we need to do and should only get better in this offense.

Like the way they're playing but would be great to have a top all around TE for a change

Ozzy rules!!

I don't care who comes back on offense. Start the same 11 until we lose. We haven't had this type of offensive production in years.

For guys who are depth they've done a good job. It doesn't seem like we're limited from having them out there, it seems like we've got a couple guys who have strengths that this team can use. That says some about them and also about a coaching staff that isn't afraid to utilize guys out of nowhere.

Sims did nothing when he was starting....he should remain 3rd string when healthy....I know you guys love him, but I've see more plays, heart, and determination from Gray and Jones than anything Sims or Cameron ever did...

This says ALOT about Gase as a coach. Remember, the offense is his baby. Give him credit for being able to plug these guys in and putting them into a position to succeed in his offense.

You also have to keep in mind that he has had several concussions. TE is still a need in my book.
