This team is all politics has been for a long time, The players are the pawns in all of this. Starts with the VP of operations & the GM and we have had plenty of stubborn ones here who it's their way or no way whether we win or lose and if you really pay attention you can see that's whats going on. The head coach is the puppet obviously he has to say/do what the VP/GM has instructed of him.

Same goes for Jeff Ireland, who was stuck in his ways, his way or the highway regardless who the coach is

Remember Philbin? He never was too keen on Tannehill and he has expressed it since he left here, If it was up to him I'm sure he would have had him replaced being that he's used to the caliber of players such as Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, but it was out of his hands, so who's hands was the decision to keep tannehill in on? You got it, Tannenbaum and/or Grier (who has been here 17 years). Until we get rid of the head the body will continue to be a zombie.

IMO, PHilbin was an OCD control freak who ironically couldn't even control his lockerroom, failed at field management and now is back where he really belongs as a position coach helping to get Luck killed. He also cared more about his homeboy Sherman than the welfare of his team and only consented to fire him when threatened with the loss of his own job. So I take anything he says after the fact with a grain of salt. It's pure revisionist bull****, just like Parcells tried to do to protect his "legacy" when he first blamed Patty White on Ireland.

Our current version of Misery i lay at the feet of Parcells and his disciples. Our team still wears the stains of their bad decisions.

No it starts with Ross. He is to blame for this mess. He needs to fire Tannenbaum, Grier and the coaching staff and reset the franchise the same way Wayne did in 2008. No more half assing it.
