Gordon and Ewers may be some extremely good value late in the draft. Grant and Savaiinea are immediate starters and address important needs. Defensive back picks leave something to be desired, though, and I assume the guys they picked up in free agency will start over them (Melafonwu, Ashtyn Davis, Artie Burns, etc)

This draft feels like it had Anthony Weaver's fingerprints all over it. I still believe corner and OL depth need to be addressed into the UDFA signing stage.

Would love to land Xavier Restrepo in the UDFA pool. Watching him with the Canes, he plays with a lot of heart and i believe he can fill that River Cracraft role, if not be even better.
 
1 Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan -- C- I like they went trenches but I don't see Dexter Lawrence in this guy. He gets moved a lot on angles on film. He is young though. I Just liked upside of others more and this was a deep DT class. I hope he is Lawrence.

2 Jonah Savaiinaea, G, Arizona -- B I really liked the pic and really hated the trade up. A- grade if they don't trade up.

5 Jordan Phillips, DT, Maryland -- D- Amazing DT draft and we in my opinion missed on it, outside of Grant. Maybe ok run stopper but liked so many other players on the board here.

5 Jason Marshall Jr., CB, Florida -- C+ I liked so many others here as well. Why not Darian Strong?? He could surprise.

5 Dante Trader Jr., S, Maryland -- D- Thought he make a great F/A signing.

6 Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State -- B+ Like this pic, power back. Not sure why we didn't keep Brooks though honestly.

7 Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas D -- Just think he doesn't really move well... or really do anything great. Why not Sanders, Gabriel or Milroe earlier? It is the final round though.

7 Zeek Biggers, DT, Georgia Tech -- B+ This is where you draft project DT's that can't rush.



Total Grade: D+ I really didn't like this draft at all. I hope the first 2 pics do pan out... But I was hoping to get more than 2 players out of this draft!!

Ewers in the 7th is definitely not a D.
 
1. Grant 0 points. Taking a 6-3.5 331 noce tackle at 13 is a waste of a pick. But he will start or play as nose so I give them 1 point for that.
2. Savaiinea 4 points. First round talent, but they traded up and lost value, and it is a guard, Additional 1 point for the impact player. 5 points.

Curious, why did you give Gordon a C?
