This is the best punter I have seen in a long time. I am watching the Citrus Bowl between FSU and Wisconsin and Gano has put his first three punts all inside of the two yard line. He can spin his punts so that they stop where the ball hits and bounce sideways. He also is a really good field goal kicker. I know drafting a punter/kicker is pretty rare but I would take him on Day 2 using a 6th or 7th round pick, if he still there....he is projected to go in the 5th round:

Maybe use him as a punter/KO specialist. I'd be a fan.

I think Carpenter has the job at PK locked up for awhile.

dang u beat me to the post. yea im watchin the same game and he is unbelievable. he already won the lou garza award (best kicker) and he has punted just as well. the 1st half isnt even over and he has had punts that have landed on the 1,3, and the 1 yard line. i have never seen a punter do this in just one half before. i am personally not a fan of brandon feilds and never have been and let's face it, carpenter is doing well this year but he does not havenfl range imo. the fact that gano can play both positions could be valuble by saving a roster spot.not enough people in the nfl, if any, do the coffin corner and gano seems to have masterd it. i would not be opposed to taking him in the 5th round.

I saw a video of him kicking a 65 yard field goal in a high school game:

That is just sick. He is kicking it from his own 45 yard line. Could you imagine just getting it to your own 45 and getting three points out of it. I am ok with Carpenter, but Gano has a stronger leg for kickoffs or 50+ yarders. Fields is ok,,,not the worse punter, but Gano is way better.

Haha!...I was thinking of posting something about this guy too!...His kicks were unreal, and the fact he didnt it on multiple occasions made it even better!

I dont think he'll be around on day two of the draft, but I'd be cool with taking him late day 1 if he's there.

kid was also a 100m champ back in high school, hes a good athlete and great kicker
