Wow, I love this article. Great stuff from Holliday on his feelings after yesterday's win. I never see articles from the official site on the forums, is it alright to post them?

"I don't know that I'd ever, on a sideline, been so excited jumping up and down for just a regular-season win. But it's been a long time coming around here. And even last year, so much hard work goes into a season, and for it to work out and finally to start coming around and to start getting wins and seeing the guys play well felt good."

"The young guys, they'll never understand what it's like to go through a season 1-15, and the elation of that game yesterday," Holliday said. "They'll never understand the feeling of putting two wins back-to-back like that. Playing in Green Bay and Kansas City, having those winning seasons, you take them for granted. You really do, and then you go through a season like 1-15 season, there's nothing like it.

I found this funny too. It's about WR Brandon London that we picked up from the Giants. Down in the tidbits part at the bottom.

London even did a little trash talking with Rivers on his way onto the field after the Miami defense stopped the Chargers on third down, telling him, "Get off the field." Rivers shot back, "You're just a special teams player," and London yelled back, "You're right. And this is a special teams rep so get off the field."

I like what Holliday said. London, not so much. I'm an O-Lineman by trade as far as football goes....Which isn't saying alot....Just HS, but, I'm not a big fan of trash talk. I prefer to hit people in the mouth.

Honestly, I can't remember a stake being driven through the heart like that for a lot of years.....Since J Cubed did it, as a matter of fact.

Love Vonnie's quotes. It's even better to watch him say it in person on Aquavision in today's interviews - his is a 9 minute one. Good stuff.

Haha, I like the London quote. I hope he'll amount to something for us. Sparano was complimentary of him in today's presser, saying he did well on special teams (and that was why he was active and Hagan wasn't).

There's a difference between jawin' and the classless trash-talking that some players do. It's a fine line, sure, but I don't see much wrong with what London said. This young team has pride, and they're having fun.

I don't mind what London said at all, Rivers is one of the biggest trash talkers in the league. I think the Chargers are one of biggest sh*t talking teams I've seen. Their linebacker was kissing his biceps after stopping Ricky while we were running out the clock. Throughout the game they were dogging us so I thought it was great that once the game was OVER and we had the WIN wrapped up we talked right back.

man I LOVE Phillip Rivers.Hes the only QB that trash talks like a b****,but plays like an elite.Gotta love that....

I couldnt stop laughing when he said-

"your just a special team player"......:sidelol:

that was so messed up.....

as if London wouldnt amount to any but a special teams player...GOD....I nearly creid, but the funny thing is,around here,Rivers response wouldve been a fight, someone would of probably got shot if what Rivers said was true and everyone knew it....that made my day....

They are seeing the hardwork and constant pressure and 100% full speed every play pay off.
