Miami is currently on the clock and will be until 3:00 PM. The actual draft playing out like this one has would, in my opinion, be the worst possible scenario for the Phins. Granted there are no trades in this simulation so the chances of a left field shake up in the top ten are greatly diminished.

Based on this hypothetical you take Brown or Staley . Only "pie in the sky" guys thought Quinn would get to 9.

I actually think the draft could absolutely go down this way...I wouldn't like it though.

Edit:

Here are the current Picks:

1 Oakland Jamarcus Russell QB LSU

2 Detroit Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech

3 Cleveland Brady Quinn QB Notre Dame

4 Tampa Bay Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin

5 Arizona Gaines Adams DE Clemson

6 Washington Amobi Okoye DT Louisville

7 Minnesota Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma

8 Atlanta (from Houston) Laron Landry DB LSU

They have Olsen and Ginn left... I voted for Olsen although I would trade down if this happened. I would later target Staley And Stanton or Meachem the Wr from Tenn... I think Ginn would be gone.

Ah the vote went for Levi Brown... I asked them to post the totals for each pick but I got no reply... LOL

9 Miami Levi Brown OT Penn State

Its a good pick and something that we really need, so there is no reason to dislike this pick. I would really like to see us trade down and grab Olsen though.

I guess several fans emailed and asked for the dtats on the voting, today they added it. Hee is their explanationa and the link. I found it very interesting.

April 17
(12:01 AM): Fans vote by the numbers… In response to queries by a number of readers we have posted the supporting data from the GBN Fan’s Mock Draft which has been running over the course of the past couple of weeks. Highlights from the data include the fact that through the first 11 picks, 20 different players have received votes. Of players receiving votes but yet to be picked, Arkansas DE Jamaal Anderson, Central Michigan Joe Staley and Michigan DT Alan Branch all received votes as early as the 5th pick; in fact, Anderson has received votes for every pick from Arizona at #5 through the 49ers and the 11th pick. Nebraska DE Adam Carriker has also received a lot of votes but is still on the board. And if the fan vote is any indication there isn’t much clear cut about the 2007 draft. Just three – OT Joe Thomas at #4 to Tampa Bay, RB Adrian Peterson to Minnesota at #7, and FS Laron Landry to Atlanta at #8 - of the players ‘selected’ in the GBN Fan mock received a substantial majority of their team’s respective votes. In contrast, Michigan CB Leon Hall, ‘taken’ 10th overall by Houston got less than 30% while WR Calvin Johnson, second to Detroit; QB Brady Quinn to Cleveland at #3, OT Levi Brown to Miami at #9 and LB Patrick Willis to the 49ers at #11, all received 40% or less of that team’s vote. The Houston vote at #10 was particularly split with 9 players getting at least one vote. Meanwhile, comparing team votes probably isn’t fair because there has been significant variation in the time frames different teams had on the clock, however, Cleveland has received the most total votes, followed by Detroit and Minnesota. Overall, we’ve received over 2,000 votes.
