That guy is awesome, he should go write for a newspaper or something. One of the best posts I've ever read. 5 stars

Wow what a nice read, this guy sure knows his stuff. A lot of very good points made by him. Thanks for finding this article and posting it.

That was a heckuva post. I've calmed down since not picking Quinn. This Beck kid seems alright based on his interviews. We'll see how he is once they hit the field in full pads. I'm still intrigued by the fact that Culpepper is on the roster as of now.

This was the best post Ive ever read, truely inspirational. You cant help but to get excited about our offense once you read this.

The only thing I have to question is, the chargers under Cameron did not have wide receiver threats when he was there..</p> But besides that, I do love that philosophy.. How can't I ? i remember Dan Fouts and those awesome Charger offenses of the late 70's / early 80's .. Too bad their D sucked the bag .

I think LT and antonio gates mroe than make up for that

But they have Gates, and he is a top tier TE. So that opens things up for the WRs they did have. And that also explains why the Chargers drafted a WR this year in the early rounds.

Amazing how one intelligently written post can make me feel so much more comfortable with taking Ginn.

I agree this is a great post or article on the history of that incredible offense that was so much fun to watch in the 80's. The only thing that I have to question in his writing is this comment:

"Forever graved in the memories of Dolphins fans everywhere is the infamous hook and ladder. A prime example of the fearlessness that was the “Air Coryell†offense. An offense that forced the defense to cover every square inch of the football field."

I went to that playoff game and remember it like it was yesterday. That play was the last play right before half time I believe, and it was orchestrated by the Miami Dolphins, led by Don Strock. That play has gone down in infamy in NFL history. I'm assuming this is the hook and ladder play he is referring to, or is it just me lacking in reading comprehension? If it is that specific play though, that is a pretty big error of facts in NFL history.

Sorry, I dont mean to be picky, I just don't want the Chargers ever getting any kind of credit for that great play!!!
